I have officially returned from school as a professional chef... With that I shall say this is a sick fight, it's shaping up to be a great card and holy **** I missed picking fights.

No idea who I'm picking but UC was my immediate thought. Cutting weight gets harder and harder the lower down the divisions you go and Ian McCall is one guy that you don't want to fight if you're cutting to Flyweight for the first time.

Regardless, having one of only 2 guys to beat the current champ now in the same division is very exciting.

I like this card and all but am I the only one who thinks Akmedov is a ****** opponent for Gunnar and a step down in competition from Jorge Santiago?

As for this fight, Pickett is like 34 and heavily muscled guy to be fighting 125lbs, if he can cut well it'll be interesting when you think of it like this. Mike easton beat John dodson, Pickett beat Mike easton. Mighty Mouse is the flyweight champion, Pickett beat mighty Mouse.

I agree he's a step down if you're only looking at from his US (UFC) career, but Akmedov will certainly be a bigger challenge (imo) than Jorge.

Gunnar probably submits him in round 1, the only challenge Akmedov has for Gunnar is that fact that he will be a large WW while Gunnar is a smaller one. Still, Gunnar beat Jeff Monson and Gabriel Gonzaga in no gi unlimited divisions so I doubt the size will be an issue at all. Gunnar, Pendred and McGregor make an awesome little team I hope to see more guys out of that clique in the UFC.

Remember how I keep saying how awesome the flyweight division has become? Well this just happened and made 10 times awesome-er!!!

This is a great move by Brad who's been outsize at BW from time to time ... I love both fighters but I think One Punch takes this.

Definately getting tickets for this now.  Met Brad at Manchester and he's such a nice guy, not that you would think it when he fights, and this is a sick match-up

I was eagerly awaiting this one to really show us where Pickett was at Flyweight from the get go, hope they can get him Dodson or Moraga, someone along those lines.
