im a huge Cerrone fan....he has let me down alot the past few years. i just caught up on Martins after the Cruickshank fight. Studied his rise....and......I really like this guy. Obviously Cruickshank knew him...cause he faught scared and magnified Martins fine showing.Against Cowboy will be different..Cerrone will engage and Martins chin will be further tested....im jacked for this one. Martins could be a real future contender . Its fights like this that can get him there.

As much as I think Martins is a great dog pick I have to pause and say....Cerrone has beaten Dennis Siver, Jamie Varner, Charles Oliveira, Jeremy Stephens, Anthony Njokuani, Evan Dunham, KJ Noons, James Krause and Melvin Guillard...that defines him a lot more than his loses to Ben, Diaz, Pettis and Dos Anjos all top 10 guys currently too. Who has Martins beaten and he is a bit older going through a rough weight cut to face a game as they get Cowboy. I know Martins is a bad matchup for Cerrone, similar in a sense to Benson, I also knew Martins would smash Cruikshank but Cruikshank is hardly UFC level in my opinion. It's a good fight with.the makings of an upset but in reality.Cerrone is.probably just on another level.

Cowboy didn't really need to say his fire is back. I think we could all tell by his performance against Dunham. No way does a focused Cerrone lose this fight.
