Mulhern is one of my live dogs but I didnt pick him mainly because the fight is in Asia. If this was in Brazil or North America I think i would pick Mulhern.

Asians tend to not like other Asian countries just as much as other foreigners, if not worse.
I don't think that bias will matter much, honestly. Lots of Asian countries aren't fans of Japan.

My thought is Kikuno is a lot closer to home. So he can have a bit different camp without having to worry about jet lag ect. I know a lot of Asian fighters struggle when they have to fight in America. Sexyama and a few others would complain about it.

What good is a reach and height advantage if you aren't as good of a striker as Kikuno?
And Kikuno is also a Judo black belt, so I don't see him getting Kukino down as well...
