WAR CRESCENT KICKS

Hard to tell how he will do since his style is so unique, he was beating up Alvarez before gassing though so that gives me some decent expectations

Very nice couple of signings...I think Rogan will be looking forward to calling this guy's fights also.

Not too pumped about Kikuno via he probably won't do very well. Kawajiri on the other hand, **** yeah!

Kikuno is a beast, I remember watching him fight in Dream. The fight with Alvarez showed he was very strong and had a lot of potential, his other fights also showed us he can knock dudes the **** out and he has awesome kicks to the body.

I think his style will go over well in the UFC because of that fact, he's a fun fighter to watch because his style is so unique and often results in a finish. I think if they start him off with the right opponents he will do well.

Don't agree. His defense is lacking and so is his grappling. Hirota was able to pressure and pick him apart and if a more well-rounded guy like Hirota wasn't able to stick around neither will Kikuno. I'm a fan though so I wish him the best. Just being realistic.

Yeah, but that was 2 years ago. You can improve a lot in 2 years and like I said with the right opponents and up bringing he could do well. If they throw him to the wolves like they do most Asian fighters, it will probably end bad.

I was thinking that about Kawajiri though, I don't think his wrestling is good enough and his defense is lacking also. I don't think his style of wrestling would do very well but it's all opinion I suppose.

Kawajiri's wrestling is very good. Look at what he did to Josh Thompson at 155 lbs:

And look at what he did to Miyata who's an excellent wrestler at 145 lbs:

And look at what he did to Omigawa who's a very skilled judoka in his last fight at 145 lbs:

@GrizzlyEdwin

I understand his wrestling is good, I just stated that I don't think it's good enough. I didn't need 3 videos of 3 fights I have already watched live via stream to tell me that :P

Granted he did beat Thompson, that's just one fight and some times certain fighters just match up badly with others and with the level of skill in the UFC, you have to have some serious take down ability to get that belt or close to it.

With the right opponents, I can see both doing well but I think Kikuno would do better because his style is fan friendly.

Featherweight, I hope the UFC gets Kikuno to debut at Featherweight.
