I have no idea why this fight was made and what Miller had to gain from it (except for maybe get some confidence back).

Miller needs a couple tune up fights, he's fought nothing but sharks for several years now. I actually think Miller should consider 145lbs he says the cut is hard but he is small. He has beaten the two largest LW's though in Tibau and Melvin so maybe not.

Should be a good tune up fight for Jim Miller.

@nomad Jim Miller  walks around at 175 and he's been fighting big guys for the weight class anyway.

Miller walks around 175 but Im sure if he upped his conditioning, trained more frequent outside of camp and changed his nutrition a bit he could walk around 165 or 160. Hes small next to most everyone in the UFCs top 10. Oh, Benson walks around 175 and I was at Extreme Couture when Maynard was a little over a month away from a fight and was 174. Both these guys dwarfed Jim and used their size to beat him. He might walk around 200lbs doesnt mean he isnt more ideally sized for FW.  5'8 175lbs in high level athlete condition isnt the size of Jim Miller,  its way bigger....People need to grasp walk around weight before they try to reason with it.

@nomad Jim Miller trains with Martin Rooney a very good strength and conditioning coach.  Besides he already bulked up to 175 so the cut to 145 would be too much.  And it's not like he is losing to bad fighters,  Pat Healy, Benson Henderson, Nate Diaz, and Gray Maynard are all top 10 fighters and are very big for 155.

So? I never said he was losing to bad fighters just that hes lost a lot in the last2 years and went from the hottest contender to probably never going to be a contender. Not only has he lost to guys larger than him who were able to impose their wills as of late but his LW career as stagnated and a change of pace wouls be good for him I think 145 could add a little wood to the fire for him is all. Also, yeah lets not pretend hes 175lbs in peak condition or anything. GSP is 193 in peak condition Johny Hendricks is fat at 210.

I think Jim needs to change something up before its too late, he wants to be a champion so he needs to bite and claw to get there. Whatever it takes.

This seems like a clear enough bounce back fight for Miller, who's fought a ton of top 10 guys for some time now. This should seem like a cakewalk by comparison.

Camoes has a good shot in this fight, but the decision probably goes to Miller via the cardio.

Miller needs to make a statement here.  He hasn't looked quite right in some while.
