cole miller did not want to fight him either. if cerrone does win(i'm picking him with a 3rd round sub) in a decisive way i believe not too many fighters(in the top ten) are going to want to fight him. it should be a exciting and entertaining bout regardless of outcome.

Oliveira is gonna sub him... I think Oliveira's striking is better than Cerrone's ground game. Oliveira will either get it to the ground somehow or submit him standing up like when Ben Henderson got a Guillotine on him. I like Cerrone, but Cowboy finally met his match.

You are crazy @Sean. Cerrone's striking is better than Oliveria's and their ground games are pretty damn equal. Cerrone's wrestling is way better. It could happen the way you think it plays out.. but to say the other stuff is crazy.

I think Oliveira wins a convincing decision and puts a halt to the Cerrone title run people are talking about... Both great fighters I just think Oliveira is a little bit more skilled...

This fight is going to be sick. I can't wait to see what the opening odds look like. Tough call, but I think I might go with Olivera if I can get a decent enough line. This is anybody's fight though.

heres the way i see it. cerrone has exciting BJJ, h is great off his back... but i dont think he is better than charlie on the ground. charlie is insane on the ground, tho sometimes a little too confident(as shown in the miller fight) but cerrone isnt going to take charlie down unless there is ten seconds in a round.
Charlie has fun stand up, because he has zero fear of being taken down. but cerrone has the better stand up and will do what ever it takes to keep this fight standing. both of these guys love using knees, cerrone prolly has an edge on the chin... im going to take cerrone by UD i think.

Damn this fight is way more exciting than a fight with Taylor. I wasn't at all looking forward to that fight, but a fight between Oliveira and Cerrone is a fight to get into the top 10 lightweights in my opinion. Both very exciting fighters I think this is going to be a hell of a fight. It's really tough to call too. I think it's a coin flip really so I'll go with my heart which is Oliveira.

Hopefully this fight replaces Dollaway vs Hamman on the main card, eh? Would much rather watch it in HD on TV than on the Facebook stream.

I don't necessarily disagree with Sean. I think both fighters have an equal potential to end this fight. I have no idea who I'm gonna go with right now. I like Oliveira's striking and I think he'll pose some problems for cowboy. This is probably gonna end up going into the 2011 FOTY top 5.

I agree guys this fight has to be on the main card over CB's fight..hell i thought Benavidez/Wineland should of been too

This is good for Cerrone as the fight against Taylor would have done nothing for him ranking wise. But against Charles "Do Bronx" Oliveira a win will move him up the ladder. Same goes for Oliveira if he wins.

Also it should make for a more exciting match.
