I'm surprised there wasn't a baseball thread going, yet... so... here it is!

I normally don't talk too much baseball because I'm a Royals fan, haha.. but they have a chance for the playoffs! 8 games left, and they are 3 games behind. They are playing the Texas Rangers tonight and tomorrow (and defeated them yesterday). The Rangers are 2 games ahead of the Royals and in the wild card race as well. Beating them today and tomorrow would tie them up with them, then give them 6 games against the last place White Sox. It's going to be a close race in the American League.

I'll be watching the Royals game until the UFC 165 main card comes on tonight.

There was one but it died because it was basically just me posting in it at the end lol. Since the Giants are out I will be putting my support behind the Pirates and Cleveland or Royals if they make it in

If the Royals don't make the playoffs, you won't see me post in here until next season, lol.

I think the last baseball thread died after the end of the season last year.

Well since this is baseball related, i'll share a funny story i experienced tonight.

Was at a BWW tonight, and a couple walked in and sat down at the bar next to where i was. They had Tigers gear on, then i overheard them saying they left the game after they started losing. Highlight of my night was seeing the Tigers come back from 6-0 down and win in extras...and that is why you never leave the game early. *********s.

Yeah I hate people that leave games early, unless it's like 15-0 you finish the game, you paid for the ticket so might as well get the most out of it.

I wanted the pirates to win this game before their fans decided to chant the last name of the opposing pitcher CONSTANTLY. That's Bush League and I hope you lose now.

I'm pulling for the Pirates and Indians but more so for the Indians. That city deserves something, consistently some of the most dedicated fans even though their franchises are ass

My Tigers won today. I expect Cabrera to hit 150 home runs this year with his stupid new contract.

I'm gonna try to follow the Giants more this season. The past few years I haven't even been a bandwagon fan because they won the Series twice in that time and I still didn't give a ****.

After Barry Bonds retired I kind of lost interest, but but also it was around the time I started becoming an adult and didn't have all summer to do nothing but watch baseball.

Not sure what to expect from the Giants this year. Our rotation needs to bounce back big after a highly disappointing season last year. It has the talent with 2 ace type pitchers in Cain and Bumgarner, if Hudson and Vogelsong bounce back from injuries and Lincecum get to even a 4 ERA we should be good.

Our starting lineup is iffy too but can be good. Morse is a great addition if he can get back 09-12 form but has to fight for time with Belt, Pagan is solid, Posey of course is a MVP candidate, Scutaro is hurt and old so he's a big question mark, and Blanco, Crawford, and Belt have started to grow into their potential.

We should be playoff contenders but the West is getting deeper and deeper (expecting the whole division to be around .500 or better), Dodgers are still lulzy though with all those huge contracts. Going to be another season of close close games and hopefully playoff race for us looks like.

Another Mets season, another Mess season.

Hopefully some good will happen this year and I get to see the Mets young pitching shine.

I don't watch baseball but I went to a San Francisco Giants game a few years ago and the atmosphere was great. It was a really enjoyable experience.
