Does it usually take this long for people to update their rankings or are there people who are refusing to change their rankings because they think TJ won ?

I think it's more a matter of people taking time to change their rankings.

Why do you have Faber all the way down at 9 and Eduardo all the way up to 8. Just curious.

Don't know why I had Uriah so low so I changed that. As for eduardo i, hes still 8th because at the time Eddie winland was highly ranked which is how he made it into my top 10. Since then of course people have leapfrogged him like Sterling. Also, call me a zuffa zombie but I only use UFC fighters. Bibiano Fernandes and Marlon Moraes are good fighters, but until they fight the best they will not go in my rankings.

Marlon Moraes is really good athlete, but who are his best wins? Tyson Nam and Miguel Torres? He is defeating decent guys recently in Hill and Sheymon, but those names in your record don't make you a top 10 in the division, specially when there are guys who are deserving and arent in the top 10. He needs to fight better guys. Why is he fighting this guy Barajas and there is a much better opponent in the same card, Valiev?

Who have Moraes and Fernandes beat to make such a claim MikeLovesTacos XD. That's right, other unproven fighters/cans. Fernandes lost to faber and hasn't fought anyone who was ever in the top 10 at any point of their career.

Kinsalsa did a good job explain Moraes.

Not true at all.
Hansen was considered by many to be top 10, Takaya was unanimously top 10 for both fights, Imanari was a unanimous top 10, all when they fought him. Banuelos, Maeda, KID, Ueda, and Warren were all consensus top 10 fighters at some point in their careers.

I think Bibiano is top level. I've never been sold on Moraes.

Luke Sanders is a Bantamweight on my radar, damn he looked good. And Lineker, I never expected much from him besides being a heavy handed guy with good takedown defense but after smashing McCall and then Rivera he's another Bantamweight on my radar. Dodson just moved back up, which has to be interesting, Barao moved to 145lbs so it seems like a fair trade.

Slowly becoming one of my favorite divisions no doubt.

Joe Warren was top 10 when he was 2-0 and lost to Bibiano. I don't think so Live2wrestle

You said they were never top 10 at any point in their careers. Warren beat KID (was top 10 before inactivity) and Beebe (was around the top 10-15 range) before he fought Bibi and Warren became top 10 less than a year later. It's not about record numbers, Warren had one of the toughest career schedules (especially early on in his career) and beat high quality opponents.

Can we stop using the lame "not in the UFC" argument to discredit fighters? Pettis vs. Alvarez would have been a Bellator vs. UFC title fight at one point and the Bellator guy won. Hell, lightweight's top 10 is mostly guys who came to the UFC from WEC, Strikeforce, and Bellator these days. If anything, it's been surprising how consistently Strikeforce/Bellator/WEC/wherever guys who came over to the UFC have proven themselves as top 10 fighters there.
