for the two people(on this thread) who say there is no chance for diaz. we just witnessed ortiz best bader. anything can happen in mma. gsp is not in his home country and he will be boo'd as loud as 12,500 people can boo if he just gets that one takedown per round and lays and prays. lets see how he responds to that if thats what he chooses. i still see diaz beating him with a combo in the openng of the third round.

Diaz absolutely has a chance to take this fight.  If Diaz can mark up GSP's face like Shields/BJ did, Diaz wins in the later round no doubt.  Or... another UD for GSP.

Yeah Diaz has a chance to beat GSP. As much of a chance as Donald Trump has to becoming president. I know there are a lot of Diaz fan club members on tapology but think with your brain not your heart.

Diaz has a chance, but it's a very small chance and will continue to get smaller every minute that he lays on his back in the octagon, while being ridden like a shetland pony.

If Diaz puts the bong down and discovers where a weight room is and uses it then he MIGHT have a chance. Even then probably not. Georges has the advantage in every single aspect of this fight. And no GSP will not overlook Diaz. People should blame Matt Serra for having no chance at becoming the ww champion unless Georges retires or moves to mw.

gsp is a better striker than diaz.? not a chance. i would love for gsp to trade punches with diaz. diaz took daleys best shot and then beat him down. gsp is going to talk about(the promos on spike for this match) how much he has learned and trained with his boxing coach but as soon as he feels a liver shot or a combo, facial and body strike he will go for immediate takedown. he always plays it safe these days. if he actually won the stand up(very unlikely) i would praise gsp all day and write a thread on tapology about it and give him mad props for doing so.
