surprised no one has brought up Marquardt's suspension after his fight with Salaverry 

Just watched a Nate Marquardt vid on bloodyelbow documenting his weight cut. No issues with the weight cut so its gotta be a substance issue.

@wolfmanhowl, that's a huge number. Yeah Charlie Sheen may have have over 1 mil but not everyone can have Tiger Blood.

Not that he would be upset about STDs or staph but that he would be upset he didnt take care of them and didn't tell anyone until the prefight medical when it was way to late to fill his headlining spot.

But then again this is all just gossip and philosophy so we should just wait to see.

I hate to be the bad guy but i don't think steroids or mary jane would've forced Nate out of the fight unless they were testing before well before the fight. Pennsylvania stated he had up to 6 weeks to clarify the issue and it never happened. This leads me to believe it's something really messed up that we haven't heard of MMA fighters doing or Dana White is so pissed off that he had 6 weeks to get his **** together and he didn't that he cut him. Nick Diaz is publicly open to smoking marijuana and competing in triathalons high and he's getting a title shot. can't wait to find out tomorrow.

He has a zero tolerance to violent behavior outside of a match. (Daley). I'm not one to believe everything on the net so I'm gonna wait like the rest of you guys to hear his side of the story. Hopefully his statement will clear things up and maybe build a bridge for him back to the UFC. This is bad for the sport but I'm glad to see someone benefit from filling in on short notice for once. Gotta love the Brenneman story. Does anyone think we'll see Nate in SF?
