All right, with our last recruit on board, we're finally ready to get this **** rolling!

With the roster now full and completed I'd like to heartily welcome everybody on-board, that is:

1. joe kerr (captain)
2. WishIsHere (co-captain unless he decides otherwise)
3. Live2wrestle (also a co-captain, we have a triumvirate or some such ****)
4. Catalogger
5. inspektor_voss
6. splashsergio
7. katahajime
8. Beck13
9. Lopati
10. Legz

The team name is still pending and awaiting suggestions, one proposed by Wish had to do with this:

But I'll let you guys decide - and him present the case in full.

"If the enemy rejects the ground, I would take him down by tackle. Why didn’t he [Royler] do so? May I introduce him to a good coach? His tackle was... like a girl’s one... Mr. Royler, how are you feeling?" - Kazushi Sakuraba

not a good night for me.  Did better on cards that did not count this weekend than those that did.  pathetic.

Week 1 is done.

I'm usually pretty great at WSOF (by which I mean I get about 50%), but this I was even better than usual (ie. I got 33% with ONE Perfect), so no, not at all. I didn't want to say how I'm feeling about it before the event, because I didn't want to jinx it, but maybe I should.

We've actually lost pretty deservedly, although most of that "deserving" was me, so I take the blame for the pathetic start. Congrats to voss and particularly katahajime for top scores though! Breauxpati, you actually got the 5th score on the team, so nothing to be ashamed of.

joe kerr - (340 + 200) = 540
WishIsHere - (365 + 200) = 565
Live2wrestle - (265 + 380) = 645
Catalogger - (265 + 400) = 665
inspektor_voss - (355 + 400) = 755
splashsergio - (0 + 465 (missed PXC)) = 465 (dropped score)
katahajime - (315 + 445) = 760
Beck13 - (340 + 175) = 515
Lopati - (340 + 290) = 630
Legz - (290 + 305) = 595

Edit: The only "silver lining" I can think of is that this weekend I believe we would lose to anybody. I know, it's not really any consolation whatsoever.

Yoss, is the post above yours not enough?

Edit: Also, you spelled the team name wrong - it's plural, not possessive.

It is, I thought I'd just start a formal posting of the team scores on their threads so we can make sure official and self calculated scores are in sync before I post the weekly thread ... basically to make sure I haven't made a mistake in my calculations.

If it's trolling your thread , I'll stop doing it :)

Yeah, I know, I took it as is from your thread even though the English didn't look right to me ... now that I know there wasn't a hidden meaning behind it I'll fix it in my excels :)

It's not trolling, you're welcome to post, but you asked if we could calculate it by ourselves, which we already did, no need to add fiascos, dude. And there is a hidden meaning behind the name, but the Yamazakis is simply plural.

If anything, it's my fault for sucking at WSOF. And Beck's. And Wish's. And sergio's for missing PXC completely. Or everybody's for not getting those 15-25 points more each. We could look for it forever. But the good thing is that all those 10 regular season games determine is only the playoffs seeding and a potential bye. Last season gunn's team lost 6 games in a row and got to the finals (where they lost) and the winning team was I believe 5-5 in the regular season, so 1 loss doesn't mean we're done yet.

In any case I think I can recommend a good kaishakunin.

OK guys, this week's events are finalized. They are as follows:

EFCA 22
RFA 9
CFFC 26
Challenge MMA 2
UFC Fight Night 26

Yeah, there's five of them total apparently and some aren't exactly major. We shall keep on trucking anyway though!
