TUF Seasons Planned For China, Canada, Australia

I'm curious to witness the talent they will find in China. It will also be interesting to see if the show will be geared towards a Chinese audience or an American audience. Selfishly, I hope it's in English, or they at least have English subtitles if it is in Mandarin. I'm not even sure Cung Le (coach) speaks Chinese, does he?

I know they've already had a few international TUF seasons, but never in China or Canada. I think Australia had some good talent and definitely the United Kingdom. It's good to see the UFC growing and expanding it's reality series into new areas.

I wish they would have done China vs Phillipines , they could have done Le vs Munoz and got a lot of smaller weight prospects , I would be happy if they just brought the entire Lakay gym over

@BGusta311, Cung Le is Vietnamese-American so I don't see this show being in Chinese ... on the other hand I don't think too many Chinese fighters know English ... it's definitely going to be a challenge ...

Does anybody know whatever happened to the TUF season they were planning on doing in India?  I know it's not a big MMA country, but did they give up on it?

Good point, if the coach doesn't even speak Mandarin, that's got to present some challenges. In the requirements, it says must be fluent in Mandarin, no mention of English. I guess we'll see how it plays out..

They should have pick the two chinese fighters. Who cares about the coaches fighting. Let them have coaches who can communicate without a translator. The UFC can bring in Asian guest coaches every episode to help with training and gain more viewers.

Being that all the contestants have to speak mandarin fluently, I don't see this show being in English. If Zhang can drop to 135 they can set up Tuerxun Jumabieke vs Tiequan Zhang, though with them both being ethnic Mongolian and not Han, I'm not sure they are the guys the UFC want to be the coaches.
