This will be intresting.  With Heavy Handed 2004 olympic bronze medalist in Judo Hector Lombard facing off with the scrappy Cote i wouldn't be shocked at all to see a finish. Hopefully, this season is for flyweights and batamweights

I'll watch, but these coaches aren't that intriguing.  I was wondering who they'd choose to coach team Canada.  I did not think it would be Cote.

Does this mean Lombard is actually making the move to welterweight or is Cote (Cote, Cote, Coteeeee) moving back up for one fight so that he can get the coaching gig?

@PEACE, it makes sense in the fact that these are currently to targeted markets for the UFC and the Brits have already been in 2 Country vs. Country TUF's ...

I would rather see a Russia or Mexico vs. Japan with flyweights and bantamweights, but I can understand this one too ...

I agree with @yossgold, though what would be more interesting personally is a season of TUF where there's 3 weight classes( flyweight, bantamweight, and featherweight) and you just pick out the most vied prospects from each country, where they'd do  a qualifying tournament for each weight class and however wins in that country will be on TUF.  12 Countries 12 guys per weight class,   Japan, Russia( specifically Dagestan), Mexico, Canada, South Korea,  Australia,  Brazil,  China,    U.S.A,  U.K,  Ireland

Japan vs. South Korea, lower weight classes would also be awesome.

They have the whole war history thing going on for the rivalry (which will be done in a very respectful and polite manner, since they're ... well, Japanese and Koreans :) ) ...

Coaches could be Stun Gun and Sexyama (Stun gun would prob. murder him, but I'd still love to see the fight) or Hioki and Zombie (Doesn't make sense for Zombie from a rankings pov, but would be a sick, sick fight, plus if Zombie loses to Lamas and Hioki beats Elkins it would also make perfect sense).

The only problem I'd have with this is that I wouldn't want any of the coaches to lose :)))

Just how are they going to do Japan vs. South Korea though? They speak different languages.

TUF: Hector Lombard vs Patrick Cote, a.k.a. TUF: Who Gives a ****.

Australia vs Canada? Canada sounds good but I really don't get why the UFC think there's so much talent in Australia...I just don't see it. Benny Alloway ain't crackin' skulls.

There's tons of talent here...

And Benny wasn't the winner, let alone in the finals.  He did, however, get knockout of the night his first fight.

PEACE, we could care less about Australia here in Canada.  It doesn't make sense to me either.  Canada-Russia would have made more sense.

Anik, it's not that the UFC sees so much talent in Australia, it's that they see a large fan base that will get them decent ratings and future PPV buys.

Or just Canada.  Or just Aus.  BR style.

And just to be clear, I meant "didn't care" about Canada as like...a rivalry.  Not some racist trash.

Should have just done a TUF Australia with Lombard vs. Noke and then have TUF Canada with Mein vs. Cote or some other coaches.
