Do you guys ever get nervous when one of your favorite fighters fights? Maybe it's because I'm a pretty emotion guy, but I get terribly nervous when any fighter I like steps into the octagon. I love it and hate it at the same time. It's almost like I am watching one of my friends fight. It's kind of embarrassing to admit but oh well. Just wondering if anyone else gets this feeling when someone fights. I'm feeling nervous already for the fight tomorrow, I'm a big JDS fan, so I know I'll be on the edge of my seat come tomorrow. Anyone, anyone, bueller?

I agree. Watching Sonnen beat up Silva for 4 rounds was so frustrating. I was screaming triangle the whole fight. When it finally happened i almost did a backflip.

All the time and GSPisoverrated summed up the perfect fight, When I saw Sonnen dominate Silva I was on the edge of my seat, nerves at an all time high and hoping...nay expecting Silva to turn the fight around. In the fifth round my eyes darted between the fighter and the timer and I saying "Come on Silva, you can do it" or something to that effect. Then Silva got the submission and I was shouting through the roof.

It makes the fights that much better when you have such an emotional investment. I agree, the sonnen silva fight was infuriating...for 4 and 1/2 rounds lol

I'm only nervous when watching GSP fight, because he is my all-time favorite, and has been since 2004, and when Anderson Silva fights, because I always root against him and desperately want someone to knock his ass out.

Yeah I'm the same way and I'm with a few of these guys on the Silva vs Sonnen fight.  That entire fight I was in a pure state of shock.  I could hardly believe it was real.  Never gave up hope though.  Was waiting for Silva to catch Sonnen in a submission the entire time he was on his back.  When Sonnen tapped it was the biggest sigh of relief I've had watching MMA.

I get nervous when Cro Cop steps in the cage and isn't even a mirror image of himself when he was in Pride. Yet his Pride and commitment to stay in there means he has passion. Since the Gonzaga fight I've been nervous seeing him go in the cage, and I get sad seeing him when he's knocked out. I honestly hate watching him get knocked out and it bothers me for like days straight. lol.
Every other fighter I watch I get pumped and not nervous. I just get really excited.

my favorite fighters are rashad evans, jon jones, donald cerrone, nick diaz and koscheck. only fights i was nervous for evans was liddell and machida. never been nervous for a jones fight. cerrone, only nervous for henderson fights, diaz kinda grew on me so i started liking him right after he got let go by the ufc. kos i was nervous in the second gsp fight and stopped watching it b/c i knew what was going to happen and i was nervous when he fought rumble. don't get too nervous b/c the fighters i like seem very confident so why should i not be confident with them.

The only fighter I really got nervous for was Cro Cop in his last couple of UFC fights, because I really really really did not want to see him lose.

I am scared that the next time Arlovski steps inside the cage he might die.

I usually get excited for my favorite fighters. Or really when any fight I'm really interested in the result happens. I get excited for pretty much any title fight in any division.

Whenever the Nog's, Shogun, JDS, Maia or Woodley fight (and some other random people mixed in their, depending on the fight), I get nervous as hell and feel like I'm about to throw up. Even if I try to convince myself the fighter I like is going to lose (i.e. Nogueira vs. Schuab or recently Nog/Davis or Santiago/Stann) I still get nervous as hell, and even if I know the outcome before the fight, I'll still get pissed as **** when it happens.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who gets nervous before someone else fights, haha.

I get really nervous when GSP fights. I can't sit I have to stand. It's weird because I feel like I'm more nervous then he actually is. I love how GSP trains and how he works so hard for everything he has in his life. He's respectful and polite but at the same time he doesn't let anyone push him around. He's a class guy who could be the most ****y s.o.b. ever but he's not and that in itself is impressive.
