Guillards is way better imo... at least Grispi was still trying to kick off his back while being crumpled.. the other dude was just done.

@kalibo great eye, I didn't even notice that Grispi still had some life in him.

Melvin's shot to the liver looked devastating because Gabe isn't even that legit in my books. Gabe it the only fighter I was never fond. If you look at his past fights they weren't very exciting. Melvin just proved Gabe didn't belong there with him.
So George's liver shot is more impressive imo.

George didn't get as much power and technique behind his shot. I'd imagine Grispi would have fallen like Gabe if it were so.

Does it really matter the competition level?  No.  It doesn't matter who gets punched in the liver man.. we all feel it the same.  So, imo.. @body's comments don't make too much sense.  Can a black belt take a punch better than a while belt?

Far more brutal imo.  It was straight and forceful.. not looping.

Technique makes sense@ Kalibo. If you can't see it. Please look at the posture of Melvin's shot and then Georges. George didn't get his full body weight behind his strike. If you haven't noticed. Watch Chuck's shots and he uses all of his body weight with his legs planted. And uses the same strike as George. Melvins technique is far more crisp and would put any fighter down like George. More technique=more power.
I don't know how that doesn't make sense. Please enlighten me as to how it doesn't.

I say George because of the power he had just from that punch. Still dropped his opponent. Also Melvin is in my favorite fighter list. I just think George's was impressive from my perspective.

Let's say George didn't push off with his right leg. He used all of his body weight and turned into that punch. It would have been devastating. You may find a GIF of Chuck not exactly punching like he demonstrates but he has so much power and technique it helps with his shots if they aren't 100%.
smh.
