I was expecting insults and swearing but he did it perfectly. Conor should accept in my opinion.

Akira's left ear doesn't look healthy.

Conor should except. The fight makes sense. Conor was calling out Swanson, Koch, and Poirier a few days ago. Those fights make ZERO sense. Akira did is rather respectfully too.

Conor will probably steamroll Akira.

Bad fighter to call out.

Akira knows Connor was pretty hyped up after his debut and wants a big win to cement his name. However, I don't think it was a really smart idea. I think Connor would basically run over him.

The motivation makes sense, this will be a high profile fight with all of the attention McGregor is getting, but I agree with @Tycoon. Akira is just setting himself up to be McGregor's next victim. Sounds like a sweet fight though.

That's a classy call out by Akira.  Not the best fight for him to take but personally this is how I'd like McGregor to be built up.  I think After Brimage, Akira is a good solid name to put on Conor's resume and this isn't throwing him in pit too quickly.  Not that I think Conor couldn't handle it, I'd just rather see him take a few mid level fights before jumping into the top 10.

No matter who it is though, I'm just stoked to see Conor go to work again.

Akira isn't close to Conor's level, but I can see him wanting to fight on that card against the guy who's going to be one of the main focuses of the event.

His biggest problem is that Conor wants to fight so bad on that card that he might actually accept the fight.

I don't think Joe Silva will want that fight to happen, though.

All the Irish McGregor bandwagoner ****heads who only started watching MMA when they heard Conor was fighting in the UFC are cursing out Akira on twitter which I just find embarrassing...

I try to go by the if you wouldn't say it to their face rule and it works well.. I saw a few actually challenging him to a fight also and saying that they would beat the **** out of him. If I were Akira, I would genuinely offer to fly them out and spar with him.

In fact I think for the first time ever I'm going to go on a bit of a twitter rampage and teach some Irish just bleeders the finer points of MMA...

You know what, after reading through them it's mostly ****s from Northern Ireland whining at him because he said The Republic of Ireland and they're part of that sad little mole on the arse of our country. We have Conor McGregor and they have Norman Parke but they can't accept it. Don't think I'll get involved in that mess.
