He definitely won rounds 1 and 2,  I think Ben edged out all the other rounds.

I don't really see how 3 is scored for Melendez. I thought 3 and 4 were the clearer rounds with both going to Henderson. I also gave 2 to Benson. 1 and 5 to Melendez. R2 seemed the closest to me and was essentially the deciding fact in the fight for me, although, either fighter could have convincingly taken R5 if they would have just gone after it in the last minute.

I thought Melendez won, then again I was watching it from the upper section inside the HP Pavilion.

I will give credit where credit is due.
I've always called him "Scrublendez" thinking he was going to get exposed.

But he brought the fight and gave Ben a run for his money.

Well done, but I do believe Ben bested him.

i think he lost henderson knocked  him down alot more with leg kicks and that each time gibert fell on his bum from a leg kick counts as one but it was a pretty close fight and i can see why people think he won hope a rematch happens after they have a few fights

I thought Bendo won the last 3 rounds rather easily, hell maybe even #2.

I scored the fight the same as @Zarog.  I gave R1 and R5 to Melendez... R2-R4 to Bendo.  I think R2 was def the closest... so I wasn't surprised to see a split decision and can see how people would score it for Gil... but R3 to Gil?  Nah.  R2 is the round in question imo.

Yeah... see.. R2 is the one I think. Very close... I think you scored the fight just fine @live2 regardless of me giving Bendo the round.  I may need to re-watch R2 to be certain... but judges don't have that ability.
