I would love to see DC and Cain square off. Too bad it will probably never happen. I wonder if he really will drop to 205.

Cain was building Cormier up on the UFC on FOX 7 special saying **** like "The hardest fights I've ever had are the ones I have with him in the gym" yet the both of them ***** and moan when the prospect of them fighting comes to fruition because they're teammates. **** that ****. The only reason they won't do it is because they're both intimidated by each other.

I don't buy that "respect for my team mate" ********. If they both had respect for each other in that sense then they would be more than happy to fight each other. True teammates can beat the living **** out of each other whether it's in the gym or the cage and then continue to be training partners and friends afterwards.

I do not think anyone will defeat Cain Velasquez unless and until Jon Jones moves up.  If Jones moves up, I see him becoming HW champion, after a titanic war with Cain.

Until Jones moves up, Cain will rule HW.  JDS will not be able to dethrone him.

How can anyone say JDS isn't going to beat Cain? He's done it before and could do it again. If Cain and JDS were to fight 10 times it would probably be 5-5. He has the best chance of beating Cain. It's mma and the hw division. One punch can change everything. That is true in any weight class but especially the hw division.

I would laugh my ass off if Bigfoot became the champ. You all are counting him out like he has 0 chance just like when he fought Overeem. I'm not saying Bigfoot is going to win but to overlook him is a huge mistake.

Bones would be terrible at heavyweight.  Plus hed have to gain atleast 30 pounds of muscle and I don't think he'd put in all that effort just to get KTFO.

JDS and Cormier. I'd have to see JJ @ heavyweight before I say anything about him. Also welcome to Tapology :)

Jones has said he walks around at 225..

So, I don't understand why he'd have to gain 30 lbs. of muscle, thus making him walking around at 255.

That is not necessary.  He could be competitive at 235 lbs.  If he gained 10 lbs. of muscle, that would be enough to allow him to fight on even terms.

Does anyone else have a feeling that Cain will have no fear of Werdrum on the ground? I saw that some where saying he just strike Werdrum, but honestly I have a feeling Cain will toss him on his head if they fight. I do not think Cain will fear his ground game at all. He will be wary of it, but not fear it.

Everyone is looking past Bigfoot. Bigfoot was +400ish underdog against Overeem also... intradesting.

Cain won't come to the octagon half-arsed like Overeem did. They'll be nothing Bigfoot will be able to do against Cain.

@Cal1

that  not really a good arguement. What does Bigfoot bring to the table this time that makes he stand any more then a punchers chance? Because he beat Overreem? Same Overreem that fights nothing like Cain and was winning the fight  until he was finished in the 3rd round while he was goofing off during the majority of the fight by keeping his hands low and taunting. Overeem never had a great chin either. Overreem lost himself that fight. He was way over confident and it cost him. Props to bigfoot he came in with a a great game plan and executed it perfectly, but lets not oversell that performance. Nothing in that fight indicated that he fair any better in a rematch with Cain. But please explain for us in detail why bigfoot stands a better chance this time around.

And let's not forget, knocking out  a one-legged Travis Browne isn't the most impressive thing ever.  Kudos to him for taking advantage of the situations given to him when they were there.  He got himself a title shot and rightfully so.
