Don't think he will get either one of those fights...but something tells me he won't retire either. But who knows what Diaz will do next.

Everytime he loses, he gets demoralized. I love Diaz but he's a sore loser.

At best I could see the UFC giving him another fight with Condit after he fights Rory again.

For some reason I don't believe him , but I hope its true cause hes not getting either of those fights.

I could see a Condit rematch, but Condit still expressed interest in the Rory fight, which is the fight I think the UFC wants more. Probably put Diaz against Marquardt, Woodley, or Maia/Saffedine loser. Pretty much any WW is an option since it sounds like he'll be taking some time off.

Nick Diaz said he's retired unless he gets GSP, Silva or audited.

Diaz is probably going 5 rounds with a jail cell.

I don't really believe he's retired either, but I wouldn't care if he did. He doesn't deserve a rematch, he was dominated for 5 rounds and Silva would KO him in one round.

It would be interesting, but Anderson's striking is so much better than everyone else's. No way Diaz can beat him striking, even as good as Diaz's boxing is.

Nick's not getting either of those fights and he's not staying retired ... and to tell you the truth, at this point, I don't give a **** anymore, there's a limit to how much antics just make you not worth the while ...

I like his style and I htink that he's a genuinely nice dude underneath all that defensiveness, but I won't be waiting for him to come back ... when he does I'll be happy, if he doesn't ... meh.

But hear me now, he will never stay retired, I can guarantee that he hasn't invested his money wisely and won't start doing so any time soon ... where else is he going to make 200K a night just in show money? Once the IRS start banging down his door (or he just runs out of skunk money) he'll fight. It's not like he's got any other skills and MMA trainers don't make as much money as you'd think unless they're leading killer camps.

At least we can still enjoy Nate, same style, same demeanor, more reliable. Good enough for me.

@blitzkrieg, they're more or less the same guy, you saw Nate's excuses after he lost to Bendo ... my guess is once Nate starts reaching the same dead-end his brother reached (too good to fight chumps but not good enough to get the belt) he'll get frustrated and go down the same path.

The come forward style is exciting and intimidates most, but it'll never work with the top honchos who are confident enough not to lose their minds over it.

@yoss I agree with that, at this point I think that despite what Nick says, they've realized that already, but as long as they keep fighting, i'll keep watching. Even though I've been a fan of the 209 since I started watching MMA, not for a moment did I ever think they could be UFC champions, so this is no surprise to me.

Yeah, no chance Nick stays retired and no chance he gets an immediate rematch with GSP or a fight with Anderson.

Anderson would maul Diaz and would probably front kick KO him like he did to Vitor.

Okay. I have been a Nick Diaz fan for a long long time.. But enough with the ********. Fight your way back to the top or quit *****ing. He got beat by Condit, got gifted a title shot and got dominated.. Earn your way back up or 'retire'.

I love Nick Diaz and enjoy his fighting style, but he is not going to talk himself into any other title fights, so it looks like he's going to stay retired. In all honesty, we all know that no matter what, he's not going to stay retired.
