Pulling for Cigano. I don't see him getting a KO but I think a UD is well within reach. Hopefully if JDS can get this win he will fight Reem after that. That fight needs to eventually happen.

Easy UD win for JDS. Hunt bit off more then he can chew on this one.

Yesterday I read that Hunt refused this fight, according to Dana White. Today it's on.... so I guess the pressure helped him change his mind.

Would love to see Hunt pull this off and if Junior wants to stand, which I'm pretty sure he will, it's gonna be a win win for both fighters reputations.

More like Hunt wanted the fight, but Dana saw more money in Overeem/JDS bout and wanted to have it pushed back for the Reem. Hunt said he was ready before Dana nixed the idea, but when JDS wanted the fight to stay on the same day, Dana had to put his foot in his mouth.

I think Dana realized by the fans reaction to Overeem's injury that there is money to be made off the JDS/Hunt fight.

I think it'll be JDS by decision. I don't think either one will knock the other out, but certainly not for lack of trying.

FOTN for sure. JDS would never fight like Struve did. This is his fight to lose.

I think Mark Hunt is getting JDS at the right time. Considering Cain broke his jaw really quick in the first round he might be apprehensive to engage with the power of Mark Hunt early in the fight.. Imagine if Hunt wins and then he gets Cain Velasquez. I am happy for Mr. Hunt.

Being a fan of Hunt since his K-1 GP days, this makes me have a warm fuzzy feeling inside that people are finally giving props to Hunt and not continually blowing him off like they have for all of his other UFC fights. I will admit though that JDS is the favorite for a reason and probably has the biggest chance to win, but as I have always picked and will pick, Hunt KO Round 1.

As for all the theories on how this fight got scheduled, my guess is it went something like this:

- Joe Silva calls Hunt and asks if he wants the JDS fight
- Hunt smartly says "I deserve to be paid big money"
- Dana goes into hardball mode saying "Hunt refused the fight"
- Hunt jumps on twitter and defends himself, saying he doesn't back away from any fight
- The two have a phone call, hash things out, Hunt gets the payday he deserves, and the fight is on

ugh I'm really not in the mood to see two grapplers duking it out at lightweight, especially when they can't strike for ****.

I'll pick Hunt but I really don't care; I just hope this fight doesn't bore me to death.
