So, I thought it might serve a purpose to create a thread for all the other contributions to each other's lives that don't fit anywhere else.
Do you have something that would enrich the community culturally? Maybe dance, comedy, nutritional, inspirational, arresting visuals? But please let's keep this positive, and appropriate to the general public.
Maybe a video clip of a movie, broadway show, highly unusual, utterly creative, a cutting edge piece of information, a new computer application, or something that would make someone's life better or richer.

I had hoped that I could post the one photo and everyone could scroll down and see the long sequence of amazing photos.
As it is now, all you have to do is click onto the links and scroll down. Not so hard.
I still don't know why anyone would down arrow such an awesome thread. And no one had the balls to step up and explain why. Disappointed but not surprised. One troll was gunn4206. Other was probably trae.

The Immortal Sam Cooke
There have been a lot of soulful singers. Many great ones. And one of the best was the immortal Sam Cooke, 1931 - 1964. He died December 11, 1964, at the age of 33.
The names of the great soul singers come readily to mind. Smokey Robinson, David Ruffin, Eddie Kendricks, Jackie Wilson, Little Richard, Chuck Jackson, Lou Rawls, Jerry Butler, Curtis Mayfied, etc. Sam's easy-going, smooth, breezy style of singing made his songs his own.
The way he bent the notes to make them fit created songs we'll never forget. Introducing the Immortal Sam Cooke, as if he needs an introduction!
