This is one of the more tougher fights for me to call. Sicilia can hold his own in his groud game and good striking power But Blanco could pull something off too.

I feel ya. Sicilia's best win is Marcello, a guy who shouldn't even be in the UFC. He lost to Chris Saunders on TUF. Easy pick is Blanco IMO

Sicila's "game plan" - wing slow overhand rights, one at a time until he gasses at the 3 minute mark. After that, keep winging them only slower a with further time between each punch.

Unless one of them connects, which shouldn't happen to a UFC level fighter, Sicilia loses this.

BTW, @ben, why are you emotionally invested in a Sicilia/Blanco fight?

Wow I completely forgot how much Maximo went after Pat Healy. He's so ridiculously aggressive.

Also, Maximo has a DQ on his record due to an illegal soccer kick yet 2 fights later he has a win by KO via stomp for the same promotion? How can soccer kicks be illegal yet curb stomping a guys face in is deemed acceptable? Makes very little sense.

Maximo is being undervalued because people are most familiar with his last fight vs. Brimage in which he didn't look "normal" and everyone is undervaluing both his past performances and Brimage but I still think this is a close fight. Sicilia has good power and unless he's got a lot weaker chin than it seems I don't think Blanco has the elusiveness or style to "pick him apart". I think it's somewhere between 60-40 and 55-45 with the slight edge for Maximo, basically a puncher's tossup.
