According to Dana White at the presser: Anthony Pettis text me and he wants to fight the champ at 145!!

This would be in-*******-credible.

Bendo has improved by leaps and bounds since coming into the UFC. After he fought Bocek, I wasn't impressed at all, now look at him.

I disagree with both of you that Benson is noticeably better and instead submit that he's simply had more favorable style matchups than his last loss.

I would love to see Aldo/Pettis but not until after Pettis gets a LW title shot.

Oh and I do think Aldo could beat Henderson.

@Judo I agree and like I said in my first post in this thread I'd rather see Pettis/Hendo 2 and Aldo/KZ or Lamas but if the UFC makes this fight I won't complain at all.

Because let's be honest it's a ******* awesome matchup.

Bendo improved since his WEC days but so did Pettis. I'm sure his wrestling gets better everyday he trains with Askren, so does his BJJ. Don't know if his stand up can get any better tho...

Jose Aldo vs Anthony Pettis? It would be a cool fight to watch but I think Aldo would kill Anthony Pettis. If Pettis even tries a Showtime move, Aldo's gonna end his life. It took him 3 leg kicks before Edgar started buckling, Pettis would be in for a long night.

Not many people can outstrike anthony pettis
although jose aldo has great striking i dont think its as good as Pettis
but as a complete fighter i believe Jose is a little better than pettis, as far as wrestling and BJJ, but as far as strictly striking, I think Pettis would work Aldo especially when the fight gets around the third.
Also pettis would have a sizable reach advantage i believe if im not mistaken
