Prediction: Cavalcante  |  Decision

I think JZ is the better fighter. I don't know a lot about Wilcox, just that he's a very good wrestler. JZ is really good, I think he'll out strike him, and his jiu-jitsu will be good enough to threaten off his back. Also, anyone else find it funny that a couple days after Rich Chou gets fired and Sean Shelby steps up, JZ finally gets a fight?

Yeah but his quality of wins isn't too great. Outside of Ribeiro, he's lost to most of his highest competition. JZ on the other hand has wins over big names like Nam Phan, Omigawa, Uno, and Josh Thomson (yes he won that fight). Obviously he hit a bump in his career after the knee injury, but he has looked progressively better since then, and looked very good against Thomson.

His fists are dynamite and his jiu-jitsu is great. I think he finds a way to win this.

Prediction: Cavalcante  |  Decision

I think JZ will win based on he is much in need of a win.A dominate one becouse he lost to Josh when he should have won.He has been in big fights in Dream where he has won.Justin looks impressive and could easily win but I think JZ experience will bring him the win.

Haven't made a pick yet but I have to go with Wilcox. Met him a few times, trained with him, hes a good guy and works his ass off so I want to see him make it to the top.

Wilcox is a very physically strong guy, if he can get this fight to the ground, he should have the power to hold JZ down for 3 rounds of ground n pound. I don't anticipate this being the most exciting fight.

I think cavalcante has the striking and submission edge. But wilcox has the great equalizer, hes got the wrestling. And if the punk was able to take cavalcante down, then i think wilcox should have no problem. Whats gonna be interesting is to see if wilcox can avoid being subbed.

Unless Wilcox lands a big punch at some point in this fight, I feel that JZ is the more well-rounded and experienced fighter.

Prediction: Cavalcante  |  KO/TKO  |  Round 3

I think that Wilcox is going to control the first 2 rounds with his wrestling and G'n'P. In the 3rd round Cavalcante is going to find a way to keep the fight on the feet, or utilize his BJJ to sweep Wilcox, and pull off a dramatic/come from behind 3rd round TKO.

Sounds good in theory.

Wilcox Decision with his solid wrestling and takedowns.... Clearly JZ has issues with going the distance in his fights.... All 4 of his losses come by decision and He hasn't fought in 8 months...His cardio is definitely in question here. Wilcox will be the much fresher fighter here.... Who do you pick? The fresher fighter on a hot streak with solid wrestling and good cardio or the brazilian with an 8 month gap and losing 3 out of 4 of his last fights??? haha

This is a classic head vs. heart pick for me. I ******* love JZ (no ****, just a big fan), but I think Wilcox will pull it off. Wrestlers just win fights nowadays, regardless of if they actually complete takedowns. JZ is a pretty good wrestler himself, but he loves pulling guillotines, which is a bad idea against such a good wrestler. On the feet, JZ dominates I think, and on the floor, I think he could pull of a submission, but I wouldn't be surprised if Wilcox just bullies him against the cage for 3 rounds. That seems like the most likely scenario.

I'll pick JZ though, he's the man.
