I'm more excited to hear about him open to training with Nova Uniao again than him fighting on the card...I would hope he would consider that training regardless of him fighting in Rio or not

I wouldn't mind BJ on the card.. but who would he fight?  Will Fitch be available?  If not, what about KOS?  What about Jake Shields?  Either of those 3 would be awesome.

If Alves gets through Story uninjured then a Penn vs Alves fight would be interesting and perfect for Brazil. If Alves isn't fit to fight in time or if Story beats him then any other top WW is good for Penn: Kos, Shields, a rematch with Fitch if he's healthy.

i don't think penn wants to fight fitch again. that 3rd round he had with fitch was hard to watch if your a penn fan. fitch is the human blanket.

I would have to say Alves is the only plausible opponent.  After all this is the UFC: Rio card, so the UFC is going to put a Brazilian fighter opposite Penn.

Shields would be the other nice option imo.  I have a feeling Alvez won't be out of the Story fight unharmed, even if he wins.
