Possible Vulcan punch?  Brrrghh.  He has been successful with everyone he has helped so far.  He is a legit martial arts practitioner and is proving his worth... as weird as that is.

It seems anytime a top Blackhouse fighter has fought lately it ends up being very highly ranked on my greatest KO lists! Wonder if he's made JDS' hands even deadlier yet! (Poor poor Brock if he has!)

I think he is taking too much credit. After Machidas KO, Machida said it was something his dad told him to do. THen Segal was on Buffers radio show, and he had no problem taking full credit for the kick, saying that he came into camp 5 days before the fight and told him to use this kick. And this whole "Black House/Steven Segal" is just a publicity stunt that was set up and I'm sure both parties are profiting from.

Then he went on to say he needs to talk to the people that killed Bin Laden before he makes any comments on that subject.

Seagal is a joke and has no place in the conversations of the real world. He's a 50 something drug addict full of botox with a house full of sex slaves. Seagal has as much credibility as Wesley Snipes and Arnold Shwatzennnager. Name one other trainer so fat he can't clap his hands. He's as much of an innovator in martial arts as he is a lawman.

The hate towards someone is astounding yet amusing. Seagal has been doing martial arts which is Aikido which involves wrist locks and certain techniques. He has helped sharpen Machidas kick as well as Andersons. He didn't say he invented it. Bringing in ludicrous statements like he's a drug addict and so forth can be said about the majority of the world. Not everyone is a saint and sometimes that's what helps us learn. Everyone is imperfect so being such a hater makes you look worse throwing such hateful words towards someone you haven't even met. Which is fine because this is the internet. I just find it amusing.
If Machida and Anderson know Steven personally and have been doing martial arts their whole lives. I trust their judgment. Steven was outside of the cage and called for Machida to use that kick seconds before he KO'd Randy. If you want a source and the interview I can provide. Machida also credited the help and the embellishment with the kick in the press conference to Mr. Seagal.
Haters are going to hate.

@Outlaw  That is inappropriate and unjust.  You attack his credibility with sop****ric insults about his weight and personal habbits.  I'm a little disgusted.

Yeah... same way as Gregory stated.  Seagal is a legitimate martial artist.. I wonder why that poster was so angry about him?  Oh well.  GSP needs some Seagal in his diet!

On the surface, Segal has become a parody of himself because of his martial art films becoming worse and worse and him having a weird charisma on top of that. On the flip side though, you do have a man who is a legit martial artist and his early movies are still entertaining due to the violence of them.

Perhaps Segal teaching Silva and Machida those kicks is something to be taken with a pinch of salt. But then it's more amusing to think that Segal did infact do so, so I'm going to beleive he did so.

Maybe Colture can be lead out of retirement with a match against Segal? I'd pay money to see it :D

Seagal's moves are too deadly.  He would never get a license from the athletic commission.

@havok I agree. The way he'd use any of his techniques would be a force of habit he wouldn't be able to resist in a fight in the octagon. Which could cause serious harm.
