can't wait for this fight both of these guys are beasts, they are both great fighters, Mcdonald has more power, while i think Barao will have the standing advantage by having some power while still being technical, should be a war can't wait.

This fight will be insane.  I'm pulling for Mcdonald.  Only thing that sux is that I have Comcast and they don't offer Fuel in my area.

I think this is one of the first fights for a long time I REALLY don't want to end with a 1st round KO.
Man, I want at least two and a half rounds of this ... it's going to be INSANE!!!
Perfect fight for me would be a McDonald 3rd round KO after a couple of bloody back and forth rounds ... mmmmmm ...

This should be for the actual BW title, imo. Cruz is going to be out for at least 20 months if not 2 full years. It's pretty unfair to the division and not even Frank Mir was out for 2 years when he was stripped of being a champion.

I don't understand why this wouldn't headline a FOX card, like they did with Bendo and Johnson is put there title fights on FOX to get them a bigger fanbase so they can go on PPV. By putting this on FUEL you limit the number of possible viewers.

The Fuel TV move isn't a great one. Just because of the distribution of fuel, this will be the lowest viewed title fight ever.

Nope, i agree with all of that. I'd rather see a battle instead of having a fight that will last about 60 seconds or less as the 157 main event. At least put this on FOX, i can't believe they're putting a ******* title fight on fuel.

McDonald is very good, but at just 21, it's too soon for him to fight Barao.  McDonald had a hard time with Cariaso and Figueroa.  Barao is on a totally different level than those guys.

I'm not sure what else there is for him though. I would have loved to have seen Wineland fight Mayday, i think Eddie could have beaten him, but it would be a good matchup. Barao is on another level, i agree.

@ Condit. Agreed. I guarantee you the reason they did it this way is because they believe Rousey will bring in more numbers than Barao or McDonald. They're not wrong either. UFC is a business, Rousey will probably get way more buys.

True but if they decide to vacant Cruz's belt (which I hope they don't) then he will be.

I don't understand the call to strip Cruz of his belt. He caught a bad stretch of luck. No need to punish the man too.

They shouldn't, or the interim titles would be completely useless. People who are calling for a vacating of the title obviously do not understand the concept of the INTERIM CHAMPIONSHIP.

This title fight being the main event on FUELtv makes me laugh.
