I don't even want the points for getting that win, Gomi won that fight.

Diego was striking with him too. Just because supposedly Diego is just a grappler its like people cant see him during striking exchanges

@Ben.

Check any relevant pbp online.  Everyone gave the fight to Gomi.

Gomi won.  Sanchez got another inexplicable decision to go his way.

This decision literally made me sick to my stomach.

I was shocked at the decision, and I'm a huge, massive Diego fan.  I was delighted, but stunned.  I think Gomi was robbed.

I can never be delighted when some yodel in a suit can decide how much money a fighter gets after months of training. Gomi should have that W on his record and the money that goes with it. I say this as a long time anti- Gomi fan.

@JudoRandori, lol! "yodel in a suit" :)))))

Even though I picked Gomi (heart over mind), I thought Sanchez was going win ... until I saw the weigh-ins ... then I knew Gomi had it ... and I was right ... shame the people who got to decide who won didn't see it, because Gomi fought his heart out ...

Oh, and by the way, if Sanchez cut 50lbs I'm a **** midget ... I'm pretty sure he cut a lot, but Diego has the tendency to live in a dream world and exaggerate **** from time to time ...

Diego Sanchez UFC ‏@DiegoSanchezUFC

I woke up 165 that's only nine lbs to cut, praise god for giving me the strength to do this 50 lbs weight cut was that heavy cause of injury

    Total robbery, and a bizarre one too since it was in Japan.

    Diego may have won a controversial decision but c'mon. He missed weight Probably dehydrating himself to get to the point he needed to be. But he still won. Gomi is obviously not that good. Otherwise he would have neaten down a weak dehydrated diego. Diegos next opponent should be Cerrone/KJ Noons winner.

    That was ugly, I couldn't even watch after that and I even won a nice parley. Not sure what fight they were watching...
