Absolutely. He should've been Cormier's +1 fight. Hell, he should still be Barnett's +1 fight if he's still obligated for one.

Andrei getting knocked out by cornier or Barnett wouldn't help him get to the point he needs to be. Right now winning is important for Andrei regardless what cans he opening. If he is going to take name fights take less risky name fights like rematching Sylvia, or maybe Beating Monson. I wouldn't be opposed to Andrei trying to avenge as many of his losses as possible against those opponents that are still active.

Unfortunately, Arlovski's chin left him long ago.

I'm so happy to see Andrei fighting.I'm fine with him staying outside the UFC.He's done his time.If he does however end up in the UFC I will support him 100%.

I have no issue with Arlovski being outside the UFC, but I wish he would fight people with better name value.

I could honestly see Mir and Arlovski being a good fight at this point. I like Frank Mir and all, but he hasn't really been the same since his motorcycle accident, and he's not a top tier heavyweight anymore in my opinion. He still has excellent jitz, but his stand up and conditioning have been questionable lately. I would rather see a fight like Frank Mir vs Arlovski than see Frank Mir get handed another young killer and get pounded.

now that u guys mention it, arlovski vs mir would be one helluva fight to see. mir is just so bad at getting a TD that it would probably stay on the feet most of the fight but even if that happened arlovski could get barely touched and fall out unconscious like hes been known to do. i just dont kno where frank mir goes from here. does he keep working on his hands? bulk up and focus wrestling (but he couldnt even take cro cop down) ? honestly id love to see him aggressively pull guard more and be the HW palhares

It looks like we're going to get a stream for this event. Need to check into the legality of it though.

Hoping Arlovski gets 1-3 more wins and gets back in the UFC. A fight between him and Gonzaga has always been on my fight wishlist ..

Considering how few good HW the UFC has, he should be getting a call if he wins this fight. He's won every fight since the Kharitonov KO in dramatic fashion (I'm counting the Sylvia fight, that was a BS call). No reason why he shouldn't be getting a call

I've always rooted for The Pitbull in all his fights and will continue to do so. If he can get a good streak going maybe beat some names, it would be cool to see him get another shot in the UFC.
WAR Arlovski!

Arlovski is living proof that it is a lot harder to rebuild a fighter's career than it is to build one.
So far even Greg Jackson isn't having much luck.
