Poirier takes the decision on this one.

Poirier switched camps to ATT, he is gonna be looking to start a win streak with this fight after the KZ loss.

I think this fight will remind us a lot of his fight with Grispi. No need to take it into Brookins' area of strength when Dustin has a clear striking advantage.

Poirier is back and he's finally training with a top team (no pun intended) and he's gonna be a force to be recogned with. I've been a fan of Poirier since he took the Gripsi fight and beat the "number one contender" at the time. He got outmatched against KZ but there's no shame in that. He's still young with endless potential.

I'm split when it comes to Brookins. I liked him on TUF but since then he's had rather long lay offs and his only impressive fight was the Rocha fight.

I'm thinking Dustin wins this. And hopefully with a few more quality wins he'll be right back in the mix at 145.

Going 1-2 in his last three fights Brookins is in a tough spot being matched with Poirier. Could be a great fight or a quick one if Brookins cant get this 2 the ground & stay out of Dustins guard.

I don't know what the hell the UFC is thinking screwing another one of their TUF winners. Sorry to say it but Brookins doesn't stand a chance against Poirier unless he got remarkably better in a few months.

Brookins seems to be changing camps every fight. I think hes got the wrestling advantage. But striking definently goes to poirier. And if brookins uses his wrestling strength to get poirier down, hes playing right into his opponents biggest strength which is poiriers bjj.

Brookings is very good, but I think we will see him eventually become the gatekeeper to 145's upper tier.

"It sucks to have (another) loss on my record – I can never have that back. It’s another person who defeated me. He conquered me that night. I can never get that back, and that hurts me because I’m a warrior – I want to battle, and I want to win every fight. I want to be a legend, so I have to take it and learn from it. I feel like one day I’m going to get my chance to fight him again, and I’m going to do what I should have done in the first fight. Looking back on it, it was a huge learning experience for me, and I’m hoping to not make those mistakes again"

Hope Poirier can get back on track with a finish over Brookins!

Big fan of Poirer's after watching Fightville and seeing the determination and focus he has. I don't see how Poirer doesn't finish this fight. He's better in all aspects than Brookins from what I've seen. I'm thinking a darce or rnc ends this one.

I've become a big Poirier fan. Partially because he's the only fighter I know who shares a birthday with me, and because he's got a good well rounded game and is fun to watch. Excited to see him again, I got him picking Brookins apart on the feet to take a UD.

Going with Poirier. Brookins doesn't good enough striking to compete with him standing up and I don't think he can take Poirier down. Poirier by UD (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
