Mighty Mouse with superior wrestling and speed. Much like the Benavidez fight but without the finish. One of the fights I most want to see in the future is Mighty Mouse vs Benavidez, that would be nuts, and I think that'll be the first 125lb title fight if the UFC ever picks up that weightclass.

Im always going to pick torres! Im guessing torres will keep him at distance for round 1 then get taken down and secure a triangle in round 2

Don't know what to say on this one.... Mighty Mouse is identical in style and size to Benavidez... And Torres got his ass whooped by him... But than again that reach and height advantage just lingers in my mind and the fact Torres is with new trainers now, he seemed to be more technical and pick his shots compared to when he used to just trade and bang in the pocket. I think hes gonna try and stay standing the whole fight and Johnson is gonna try and get inside and get takedowns. I think Johnson is smart and wont try and box him like Banuelos did... Wonder what the odds r gonna be?

Footwork, speed, and cardio. Torres will try to live behind his jab again, but Johnson is too fast. GO MIGHTY MOUSE!

I'm going with Torres. The thing is that this fight looks similar to Torres vs Benavidez, and we all saw how that ended up for Torres. But I think he will be better prepared for this fight than for that one, and if he plays it smart he's got a good chance to keep this a striking contest where he'll have a huge advantage.

I'm actually picking Torres by submission in round 1. Probably won't be right, but I just don't see Johnson taking Torres down or submitting him, and in the stand-up Torres has the reach advantage is a much more technical striker. I might just have to agree with Gregory.

Torres is good, but Mighty Mouse is quick as hell, and Torres' reach won't be enough to keep him from getting inside and taking him down I think. I think he's too good to get submitted from on top, but we'll see I guess.

A 10" reach advantage and a whole boat load more expierience will give torres the unanimous decision.

I know MM wont stand in front of him like a punching bag like Banuelos did but i still think Torres will outclass him to a UD

I really think MM will be able to wrestle his way to a UD... either that or Torres SUBS him.  This was the hardest fight for me to pick on this card.

Torres is one of the most active fighters in MMA history off of his back. MM doesnt have the type of strength that Benevides does so i dont see him as being a threat on the top. The only way i see MM winning this fight is if he emulates Edgars gameplan vs Penn in exact. In and out, in and out with the occasional takedown.

MM is just as strong as Benevides.. I think he is very underrated.  Hey.. now that would be a good fight.. MM vs. Benevides!

@Kalibo Benavidez and Mighty Mouse will be #1 and #2 at 125 pounds when that weight becomes bigger and a UFC class!

@Soccerkick - I agree with you there, and it could be a very competitive weight class if some of the Japanese fighters would be willing to cut weight at well. KZ, Mizugaki, and Kawijiri are a few that come to mind.

Well, my mind says Torres but my heart says Mighty Mouse. Also, I believe that Johnson's learning cure is much steeper than Torres' who seems to be in a phase of re-defining his fighting style. Unless Torres manages to properly utilize his footwork and lead jab to keep his distance, Johnson has a very good chance of winning. Might Mouse via Dec is my pick.

Torres should be able to keep Mighty Mouse outside of his freakish reach, or at least pepper him on the way in. That damage will accumulate, decision or late TKO

This has all the potential to be fight of the night. Alves/Story is really the only competition. I just think that Torres wants to get back to the top and Johnson is hungry.
