SFL's name value has gone down considerably. I'm guessing their big name, big show approach was harder on their bank account than they expected.

Without the big names SFL is pure ****. Maybe it will do decent in India, but with promotions like ONE FC giving us the card they do I don't think many people give two ****s about SFL anymore.

They went from huge venues to Conan O'Brien style studio's, I don't think they realized the overhead involved with starting too big. I'd prefer they go this route and get MMA popular in India and stay afloat than do what they were doing and possibly go under, even if it means the cards aren't as nameworthy. A lot of viewers in India still don't even know the fights aren't staged. Plus they're still going to stream them for free and I'll be watching free Friday morning MMA weekly regardless if I know anyone on the card or not.

Oh, also Chaubey vs. Barve has been pulled from the website and replaced by Irfan Khan vs. Kaushik Sen.
