I honestly think that given the circumstances of his past weight issues he's going to have to make some serious waves outside of the UFC to get a shot. 205 is a fairly deep division and no disrespect to Esteves Jones or Jake Rosholt, but they kinda seem like nothing more than warm ups for Rumble at 205. If you look at the consensus list of top 10 light heavyweights on Tapology I think he has a shot to give Rampage and Forrest a good fight out of the ten and that's about it. My opinion on it.

Cal, the thing that makes your post is Rumble's facial expression. It's nearly perfect.

I agree, he is going to have to fight in some of the other promotions before he'll be able to get back into the UFC.. But his only real option is bellator. or ONE FC but I don't think their 205 division is up to par, he could fight Tatsuya Mizuno or Babalu Sobral, a win over Babalu would raise his stock a bit. Maybe SFL, fight Sokoudjou or Trevor Prangley..

The UFC needs 11-30 ranked LHW also guys! Got to fill those cards somehow and they certainly cant fill them with just top 10 guys fighting each other. @Cthulhu Nah I wasn't being sarcastic I was just really drunk and thought it was funny, you're right he hasn't beat any big name competition but the pickings are slim out there for him unless he goes to a major 2nd tier org like SF or Bellator or ONE FC as others have mentioned. I think uncle Dana should bring him back @205 and let him fight some 20-30 ranked guys for a fight or two.

I agree with cal. With so many injuries UFC needs many mid level fighters. Though on short term I think he might miss weight even more.

He seems happy with WSOF. Don't think he's in a rush to get back to the UFC.
