Since it's a slow day in the world of MMA, I thought it would be cool to talk about Tapology and ourselves.. anything at all regarding the same.  I'll get a brief start going..

I live in PA, am 30 and have been a fan of MMA since I was a teenager.  Work for the railroad and rarely ever miss an event regardless of promotion/stature.  I like Tapology b/c of the environment it fosters.  I wish we could edit/delete our posts... maybe have categories of threads for the forums, but all in all, I appreciate the type of place this is thus far.

Well, today at work there was a derailment near Slidell.  Much fun.  I did, however, find time to look at Ms. Tate's twitter.  Holy crap does she look "fill in the blank".

I'm telling you guys, it has a slow start, but give Game of Thrones on HBO a chance. Having read the books, I can tell you it is one seriously mature, complex, and honestly unpredictable drama. You think you can guess which characters will be around at the end of season 1 after watching the first episode? You have no idea.

Dexter is on Showtime right?  I have that.. got it to watch the SF events.  I remember seeing a few episodes, but I'm the type of person that if I can't start a series from the start, it ruins it for me.

I started Dexter from season one. You really do have to start it from the beginning because theres a lot of character development and backstory in the first season. Im through the first two seasons and am about to start the third.

On the subject of av's.. I'm going to change mine when I get my Blue belt.

I guess i would need netflix if I wanted to catch up on some of those series.  I know On Demand doesn't have every episode.

@Piercerdan: Spartacus Season 2: Gods of the Arena is indeed a prequel to the first season. The first season clocked in at 13 episodes, while the prequel series clocks in at 6 episodes. Overall, season 1 started out horrible IMO and got steadily better, becoming awesome for the last few episodes. Gods of the Arena is awesome from start to finish, blowing the first season out of the water IMO. The final episode in particular is incredible.

Are these series similar in style to like, say Gladiator, Troy or Braveheart?  What channel does that show come on?  HBO?

@Kalibo: If you're asking about Spartacus, it has evolved into its own thing, but it definitley take s alot of style and direction points from 300 moreso than the other films you mentioned. It airs on Starz.

Game of Thrones, on the other hands, has a more realistic style akin to Gladiator, Troy, etc, although I expect it will be better than all of those films, and better the Spartacus if it continues to be faithful to the epic source material.

Where can I find "Game of Thrones"?  Is it on a premium channel?

Gonna have to see if I can find Game of Thrones online since I don't have HBO...seen some trailers for it and it looks amazing....same with Camelot which I'm thinking replaced Spartacus on Starz

It's the first I've heard of this show.. from Skelliher.  I don't have HBO either.  Sounds like a good show if it seem similar to 300 and is the type of show that those other movies are.  Is the story line a good one?  Sometimes its tough to get a good story line for shows like that.. most fail.
