Since it's a slow day in the world of MMA, I thought it would be cool to talk about Tapology and ourselves.. anything at all regarding the same. I'll get a brief start going..
I live in PA, am 30 and have been a fan of MMA since I was a teenager. Work for the railroad and rarely ever miss an event regardless of promotion/stature. I like Tapology b/c of the environment it fosters. I wish we could edit/delete our posts... maybe have categories of threads for the forums, but all in all, I appreciate the type of place this is thus far.

Increase intake of clean carbs, especially brown rice and sweet potato.
I've never been a big dude ( I hover around 80-90 KG) and since eliminating most meat from my diet I have lost about 5kg, and that is literally all I have done. Haven't changed a single other thing. I also just kind of feel a lot better.
It's not easy to do and it's something you have to get used to, but it is well worth it...it's amazing how much good **** you end up putting on your plate when you take the meat off it.

Tuna fish, chicken breast, turkey breast, salmon and eggs! Those r the best meat choices.
I'm doing the same. C if I can get below 200 again. Goodluck brother.

@fresno it was removed because it was a dumpster fire of cruelty, racism, misinformation, misogyny, bigotry and tastelessness. I had planned to leave it up because I don't like removing or censoring things if it's not necessary. I had hoped that with the election over, it would either fade away, or return to what it started as (a place where generic weird **** got posted). But that's not what happened. It just got worse and worse. It reached a point of no return where the whole thing was just an embarrassment.

As much as I loved the unbridled madness of the Postmodern Carnival of Insanity Thread, you did the right thing by taking it down. There should defiantly be a general "miscellaneous thread" but the Postmodern Carnival of Insanity Thread just became a toxic mess in the end.

I think I will start amateur boxing with the goal to win at least 10 fights.... I have trained on and off in striking but never fought... I broke my wrist real bad so im semi one handed, it hurts when I hit with my left, but now that im getting older I think I will just go for it anyway.... You can fight amateur until 34 or 35 so I have some time left and im not a total noob. Maybe my bad wrist is what always held me back in the back of my mind.... My right is pretty hard especially my uppercut, and jab..... Sucks to be semi one handed for boxing but thats what will make it even more impressive if I can achieve 10 wins and maybe win a novice title with some luck.... First I need to get this weight the **** off of me!!! Never take anti psychotics unless you have to but even then I bet there are natural alternatives... They really do gain you weight
I already said this before on Mikeys thread but im preparing mentally for it... I am quite out of shape so I will really have to push hard every day for this.... I hope I can make it a reality
