Since it's a slow day in the world of MMA, I thought it would be cool to talk about Tapology and ourselves.. anything at all regarding the same.  I'll get a brief start going..

I live in PA, am 30 and have been a fan of MMA since I was a teenager.  Work for the railroad and rarely ever miss an event regardless of promotion/stature.  I like Tapology b/c of the environment it fosters.  I wish we could edit/delete our posts... maybe have categories of threads for the forums, but all in all, I appreciate the type of place this is thus far.

Yeah, my mistake the prelims start way early for some reason. The televised prelims start at 5 ET, and the Facebook Fights start at 4:35 ET. Sorry about the bad info earlier.

I hate the dry air during this time of year.Every day for a couple weeks I've woken up to the feeling of my nose running. Then I must run for some paper towels to stop the faucet of blood from covering myself...

Its painless,But super annoying. Then I have to take a shower so I don't look like a serial killer.Curse you nosebleeds.I need to buy a humidifier.I wonder if my mom has the one from when I was young lol.

This happen to anyone else?

@madmike I used to get nosebleeds in the winter.  Like when I was in college and had no idea how to take care of myself.

Now I have a humidifier that just runs throughout the winter, and if things get really, really dry I have some ointment you can just rub up your nose a little bit.  Ayr is the brand.

Haven't had a nose bleed in like 10 years.  You just have to take some basic steps to take care of yourself bro!

@Mad... when I lived in CO, it would happen to me sometimes.  If I rubbed my nose or blew it, a nose bleed would occur sometimes.  The lack of humidity out there does it for sure... but when the summer rolls around, the heat is more bearable out there than out east for sure.

@Greg... yeah... I was a teen when I lived in CO, so I agree w/ you on those simple steps.  I haven't had one (due to the dry air) since I moved back east 15 years ago though.

Anyone else see Wednesday's PM edition of Hot Clicks?  The LLOD is apparently a big UFC fan... and I agree w/ Jimmy... she would make one hell of an Octagon Girl.

My cable provider finally offers Sportsnet One (the channel with all the prelims) and Spike, both in HD! I'm happy!

I was sick of watching the prelims in French with a die hard boxing fan commentator who hates MMA...

Can't wait to play Dead Space 3, been playing the hell out of Dead Space 2 lately to get ready.

Just finished Far Cry 3, parts of it (the entire first half of the story/island) were great, other parts (2nd half/island, ending(s), co-op) seemed rushed and poorly put together. Good game, but zero replay value since it was incredibly easy to get all achievements/relics/etc.
