I am surprised that no one has started this thread yet.

I know this is an MMA website but I bet that there are some Boxing Fans out there.

I just love the sport of fighting in general and I have been raised by boxing.

So in this Thread we can discuss the "Sweet Science"

such as
Past Fights
Upcoming Events
Favorite Fighters
and Historical Figures in the Sport


Because like MMA in the US, Boxing started out illegal. But where it took MMA less than 25 years to gain the General populations approval, It took boxing over 100 years.

My TV says the show ends at 1:30 am eastern time.  So they probably won't start until at least 11-11:30 or so.

I must say, while I don't usually like Mauro, he is bringing a certain energy to the broadcast that is often lacking when I watch boxing.

Meh. I'm not gonna crap on the stoppage. Maidana was lighting him up and Karass was just covering up, he wasn't fighting back. He may have been able to take more punishment, but I won't ***** about Bayless' reffing on that one. Could've let it go to see if he was gonna recover, but letting it go on too much longer wouldn't have been good either.

Did anyone else notice.....

When Soto-Karas got dropped, De La Hoya, who is sitting cage side, face-palmed on camera.  After that they sat some really tall guy in front of him so you can't see him cageside anymore. lol
