That's right, in another edition of Tapology Talks we bring to you pro wrestling! I've seen individual threads on pro wrestling, I've seen pro wrestling talk litter all over the "Slow Days" thread so why don't we try to manage the talk?

And what better way than to open up a Tapology Talks thread, amirite?

So to start the conversation, who here's a pro wrestling fan, when were you introduced to pro wrestling, your favorite wrestlers, etc. etc?

I became a pro wrestling fan in 2008, my first match I ever saw was WWE Raw with CM Punk vs MVP, my favorite wrestlers are CM Punk, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Daniel Bryan. I'm starting to watch pro wrestling again because CM Punk's slowly turning heel, and that's great news.

How bout you?

I know Virgil is crazy but I had no idea that he was telling people that Xavier Woods was his son.

This retirement speech from Daniel Bryan is great. Some of the realest **** I've ever seen in pro-wrestling.

Bryan retiring due to brain damage is my least favorite thing to happen in pro wrestling that didn't involve death. He was my favorite wrestler, I met him when he was still working ROH, and just when he finally becomes a top guy a bunch of **** happens and he gets injured, then comes back for a couple months before getting injured again and forced to retire. Hope he still works with wrestling in some form, he could be a great trainer or something.

Wrestling Observer's 'Best Technical Wrestler Award' has been renamed to the 'Bryan Danielson Award'.

@PilloryChoke  It definitely is a real hit to the business considering the level of skill Bryan had and how over he was as a wrestler.  One thing I found eerie about this whole scenario though is the parallels that can be drawn between Daniel Bryan and Chris Benoit; in that both Bryan and Benoit had received a multitude of concussions and injuries that were due in large part to the way they worked in the ring.  In a weird way, it makes me feel more at peace with Bryan's decision to retire early that much more.

Man, I'm still so bummed about Benoit. Legit one of the best in-ring talents ever, and he tarnished everything while in the process killing his little kid and his damn wife. Sad as **** in so many different ways.

I really hope Bryan stays retired for that reason. He's a great performer and will likely be in the HOF within the next five years. Just stay retired. If you skip to the 2:00 mark of this video, it seems like Bryan is having some-type of seizure during his last singles match. I would have initially just looked at this as the fact Bryan is just a great seller, but considering the fact he admitted to hiding seizures for the last one year+ recently, this is scary as ****. Yes, that Benoit incident was sad. Was he showing such tendencies days or weeks before that happened?

I watched this documentary a while back, very interesting stuff, focuses a lot on the Benoit tragedy. I would go out on a limb and say that in light of Kevin Randleman's untimely death he may very well fall into the same bracket as the hulk pro-wrestlers.

If anything, it makes for a very interesting watch.
