That's right, in another edition of Tapology Talks we bring to you pro wrestling! I've seen individual threads on pro wrestling, I've seen pro wrestling talk litter all over the "Slow Days" thread so why don't we try to manage the talk?

And what better way than to open up a Tapology Talks thread, amirite?

So to start the conversation, who here's a pro wrestling fan, when were you introduced to pro wrestling, your favorite wrestlers, etc. etc?

I became a pro wrestling fan in 2008, my first match I ever saw was WWE Raw with CM Punk vs MVP, my favorite wrestlers are CM Punk, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Daniel Bryan. I'm starting to watch pro wrestling again because CM Punk's slowly turning heel, and that's great news.

How bout you?

I'd much rather go to RAW than SmackDown but ill take what I can get. Even if the shows dont offer much wrestling, I like attending them.

I've been to two WWE house shows, they're pretty fun. At the first one Ric Flair's pants fell down and he mooned half of the crowd, which included me and my mother.

I'd go to RAW if I were you. I went to the one in Pittsburgh where Big Show sat in the ring and cried for twenty minutes. It wasn't one of the best RAWs ever, but the fact that I got to go to a live one and can always find that one online is pretty cool imo.

I remember CM Punk saying on Twitter that the house shows are more fun to attend because they can do what they want and have more freedom as opposed to having to follow a script.

I used to be big into pro wrestling before I got into MMA.  I enjoy WWE occasionally, mostly for the older wrestlers and some of the young guys like Punk and Bryan.  I enjoy at least watching WrestleMania every year.  I moved away from WWE as a got tired of the PG stuff.  I was REALLY into TNA for a few years but it just seemed to me like every time they had a chance to do something interesting they just did something dumb.  Then I was big into indy feds like Ring of Honor and some puro orgs like Dragon Gate, NOAH, and All Japan.  My favorite kind of pro wrestling is trashy deathmatch wrestling like CZW or IWA-MS.  Tournament of Death and King of the Deathmatch are my favorite yearly events!  My all time favorite wrestlers are Raven and Necro Butcher.

I went to a ECW house show when I was in high school and WWE had just revived the brand.  I got high fives from Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam.  CM Punk snubbed me lol.

I haven't watched wrestling since the 90's, although it gets me to stop flipping through the channels sometimes.

I was a wrestling addict up until about the age of 13 or so which was around the year 2000. I still have tons of old VHS tapes of not only WWF/WCW/ECW events and collections but things like big japan death matches, etc. I have tons of action figures and about 2 years worth of WWF Magazine from when I was younger, lol. I've recently gotten back into it because there are some really entertaining, athletic, and innovative guys in their prime right now. Guys like CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler (best seller in the business) Cody Rhodes, The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins (hate his gimmick) Damien Sandow, AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, Alberto Del Rio, and a lot of others I'm forgetting. The storyline/soap opera part of it I could do without for the most part because I find it silly, but it is at least funny at times and every once in a while they put together rivalries I enjoy. As far as it being "fake" goes, it is to an extent as everyone knows, but I don't question the sport in "Sports Entertainment" at all. They have some serious athletes in professional wrestling, as much as I dislike the guy Brock Lesnar kinda proved that.

Hey Kallous have you ever seen what they do to guys for their birthdays during house shows? My friend that posts on here DontBeScaredHomie showed me this, and is also heavily responsible for me being back into wrestling.

I haven't watched pro wrestling in many years, but back when I was little I was a big fan of Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Razor Ramone, Steve Austin, Diesel, The 1 2 3 Kid, The Rock, Hunter Hurst Helmsley (back before anyone called him Triple H),  Mankind (before anyone knew his name was Mick Foley), and The Undertaker.

The last time I was really into it was the late 90's and early 00's. I can still watch it from time to time, but its nothing likes it used to be.
