Sam Moisan finished Noel in their first fight. Since then, Noel is 0-4 with 4 submissions losses while Moisan scored 2 TKO wins, one over the 8-0 Xavier Alaoui. And now they're fighting for a belt..

Well I received a couple of messages on facebook about my last comment so I'll explain myself a little bit more...
First of all, no disrespect to Luke Noel. I know he's a good fighter and trains with a good team. I also know he's been unlucky in his fights recently and he's better than his record. He's an aggressive striker and will come to fight and put on a show.
But the thing is, Sam Moisan is one of the top amateur BW/FW in Québec and he's been knocking everybody down since he beat Noel earlier this year. Noel lost a fight in Québec and 3 in the maritime, I just don't feel he earned a title shot against someone who already beat him.

Apparently they were already planning to give a BW belt before Moisan's original opponent suffered an injury; Luke Noel was the only guy willing to take the fight on short notice...

Moisan/Noel

Prediction: correct Moisan   wrong Decision

I'm from Quebec city and I know Moisan. Like you said Luke Noel accept the fight on short notice. They propose this fight to many other fighters. Those things happen, like at the gladiator 3, Moisan accept a fight for the belt against Aloui 6 days before the fight, he was 2-1 and  was unknon in Montreal.

I saw Luke Noel against Moisan and Noel is a real warrior.  I think it's gone be a good fight.

@wake99 lol at you having to explain yourself. QAMMA fighters are watching everywhere...

Moisan is better than Noel everywhere and he proved it in their last fight. He will do it again, no disrespect to Noel.

Yeah Moisan is better that's for sure.
Anything can happen in MMA, but with the big boxing gloves that we use the "1 punch KO" isn't really a factor.

But like I said I know Luke Noel will come to fight and put on a show, win or lose. I know most people left the last event disappointed because in the main event the local fighter was completely dominated for 2 minutes by Alex Morgan, should be a different story this time!

@Kpro
Will you pick Noel to win?

Hey lads,

2 things I'd like to go over real quick, you are all right in saying I do not deserve a title shot, but how could I ever even live with my self by saying no to them. They asked, and Luke P Noel answered.
Second thing - to whoever is saying Samuel is better then me all around, I dropped him twice in the first round for those of you who forget. I dropped my hands and I danced around that ring, in the second round I got so ****y that I threw a spinning back kick, got caught and he had ATTEMPTED a arm bar.. Let it be known, I did not tap because he didn't have it, my coach.. God bless him, who knows I'm a warrior, threw in the towel because I was fighting a muaythai fight in 2 weeks didn't want me injured. Since then I fought Dylan on 3 hours notice, ref stoppage, didn't tap, I fought Colin 24 hours notice, someone didn't show up to weigh ins so I stepped up when he called, ref stoppage, didn't tap. I fought curt who is a warrior also, althoughguess what...yup...didnt tap. I then fought Jamie with 3 days notice.didnt tap..
I'm now assured you all get the picture, I have not, and will not tap. This is a title fight, until I tap the fight will not be over. I will not be tapped out, I will not be knocked out, and I will not lose a decision, I will leave Quebec City the 135 ringextreme champion! Whether I deserve this shot or not I will make the most of it,

And for all those who doubt whether I have tapped or not, if you look hard enoughh on YouTube all the fights are there. Cheers

@Noel not to be condescending since I have zero experience in any cage/ring but wouldn't it be better for you if stopped taking these fights on SUCH short notice? :P

i.e 3 hours?!?!??!? I'd need 3 years.

Also, let it be known that any fighter who posts even once on tapology is supported by the majority of us. We might not pick you from a critical point of view but we'd be happy for you if you won :p Good luck anyways!

It's amature MMA. It's 6 minutes of my life, in this case 15. Il fight anyday, anytime, tell me the date so I can make the weight.
And if I was in your shoes, I'd pick by Sam by submission,  all you can do is see our records, but come Saturday night those records don't matter. It'll be just me,him, and someone making sure nobody dies

@lukepnoel welcome to Tapology, I was the one who said Sam Moisan should defeat you because he's better than you all around. He has more power with his strikes, he has a better submission game and he could probably exploit your holes in grappling (evidenced by your record) if he chooses to grapple you.

I don't think that will happen, I think Moisan's very confident and I think he will stand with you which is a very good thing for you because that's your strength. I assume that you are a good starter who seems to get ****y once the round ends, as evidenced by your 0-5 record in the second round. I will be picking Moisan via 2nd round submission but I wish the best of luck to you and Moisan.

Yes i have to post something obviously :D  first of all both of you have a good fight and good luck...  noel i know you are a warrior but not tapping is a dumb thing to do  cause you can get injured and not train or fight for a long time  and im pretty sure thats not what you want... but whatever yur choice  anyways  wich gets me to posting on here is that the only reason noel got that shot is cause im not 100%  to fight .  this belt should of already been on my waist  but unfortunitaly the fight stipulation got changed at last ring extreme... soooo  i will fight the winner of this bout at the next ring extreme and bring MY belt home ;)      Sam bonne chance pour le combat mon ami  je suis 100% de ton coter et je suis sur que tu vas impressioner une fois de plus car tu est un excellent fighter!  skywalker te dit que la force sois avec toi et en esperrant quon fasse un rematch au prochain ring extreme  je ten dois une!     it felt great to be back on tapology you guys are the best talk to you guys soon!  -Skywalker

I didnt understand Kevs french part but I did pick up 'skywalker.. force.. extreme' so I can only presume he's a Jedi master now and that seems like it would be useful in MMA
