Draft will begin now as the order has been set. You have 12 hours to make your pick and if 24 hours passes since we've seen you, you will be subject to replacement. As always you can email me a list of picks and I'll take the top fighter remaining. Or we can set up to text picks as well like I did with a few people last year.

Rosters:

2 Flyweights: No promotional restriction (must be professional fighter)

2 Bantamweights-Heavyweights and 2 flex fighters: UFC, Strikeforce or Bellator

For the new people the Flex Fighter is like the flex position in fantasy football can be any weightclass and is an active fighter on your roster

2 women: No promotional restriction (must be professional fighter)

1 Wildcard Fighter: Fighter outside of UFC, Strikeforce or Bellator (must be professional) (I.E. Anthony "Rumble Johnson, Jorge Santiago or a ONE FC fighter). Wildcard fighters have a special scoring +4 for a win and -4 for a loss plus bonus catergory points (if earned)

Scoring is on the scoring template tab on the spreadsheet as well as a draft page, roster page and your own roster page. I turned off the ability for anyone to edit the sheet, but me. If you see a mistake (I promise they will happen) just let me know and I can double check everything.

Season begins with UFC 151 on September 1st.

SoccerKick, yeah the Curran injury is kind of a downer, but maybe they Main Event him in the mean time or do an interim fight with him and Friere.  But yeah that was the crap shot I took shortly after the draft, but I got a year for him to get that shot so gonna have to wait a bit.  If Hawn can win the strap that would be great.

I don't like the no moves idea.  I'll go with whatever is decided, but I just wanted to put my opinion out there.

Unlimited moves is what we had last season and it worked just fine.  I see no reason to change it.  Without being able to make moves there will be teams that won't be able to use all their fights.  If you don't like that Bellator titles are worth as much as UFC titles, you'll hate it when the teams heavy on Bellator fighters use all their fights and you don't and you finish back in the pack because of it.

@Oldman there are no fight limits every fight is now counted so thats why there are not unlimited roster moves...someone like Wolf would add/drop a full roster every week and it be a pain to keep track of!

So do we have limited moves or no moves at all?

And what do you mean by no fight limits?

I said nothing about the Bellator fights, it's fine the way it is. And no, you don't get all your fights when you only get to give everyone on your team 2 fights for the whole year when most are going to be fighting like 3 or 4 times, so that's the only way ALL the fights count.

I broke it down why it's about a billion times better in another thread and am too high to think and type that out again, but shortly after was when Soccer decided to do it this way. You can't have unlimited moves because then you can have unlimited fights.

Long story short is everyone will have different fight totals, do you want a champion on your team that fights twice and gets you 20, or someone who will be on his way to a title and win on four main cards and get you over 30 points, that's the whole point of strategy.

If you are giving a good majority of your fighters only 1 or 2 fights, then what is the point of any time of sleeper pick because they won't be on the main card for at least a fight or two, but may win 4 fights.

That was a horrible ramble, but once you realize what is going on, I'm pretty sure you'd agree it's a lot better.

Goin to bed folks.

The waiver wire will close on Sept 1st...and there will be times during the season where there is a waiver period...As for no fight limits every fight of your fighters will count this season

Well that's a big change might have drafted a little differently if I had known all fights would count but oh well

@Wolf honestly I wouldn't mind the moves if this wasn't like old school FF and kept track of by hand!

I mean I would be cool with moves and leaving it the way it was if the total fight number was like 80 instead of 50.
