With a stacked card already(Aldo vs Koch,Belcher vs Belfort,Rampage vs Teixeira,Silva vs Fitch are the big ones)Big Nog has been retweeting people who say they want him on UFC 153.So this awesome card may be getting more awesome in the near future.

Here's one:

@danawhite The UFC Rio already has one of the best card in years! But please put on @Minotauromma in the event!

Retweeted by Rodrigo Nogueira

If the UFC wants to makeup for UFC 149 now is the time.Add more great fights to the card.Any ideas for an opponent?Although none of this is official at the moment I'm excited for him to get back in the cage.In Brazil to.Last time he was there Schaub went night night.

My favorite part was when Anderson shakes Bonnar off of him, and then goes back against the cage where Bonnar had him and drops his hands. As if to say "oh is this where you want me? Ok. Let's see what's up. "

GSP vs. Silva makes in my opinion absolutely no sense.
GSP is much smaller, has a reach disadvantage (which makes it harder to land his jab, especially when your opponent has sick counter punches) and had suffered a serious knee injury, so he needs some fights to become the "old GSP" and meanwhile Silva becomes older and older. I don't think that Silva wants to fight until he's 40.
He also said that he wants to stay at MW and I can't imagine that GSP moves up.

^ That was nasty...I wonder if Ricks nose was a bit bloody from the few punches that Maia landed on the ground...or if Maia squeezed his head so hard, the pressure busted his nose on the inside...either way what a submission.

Didn't do well on the leaderboard, but with the way I've been picking UFC cards lately I'm just happy with the wins.

Silva made history again. First person to stop Bonnar and Sonnen with strikes. He is simply the ******* greatest of all time, he is literally the Ali of MMA. Everybody was saying how Bonnar's only chance was to grind him out with cage ****, and basically big man him. Silva knew this, and said **** it, im gonna stay where i am, and put his back on the cage, and was eating bombs from Bonnar and didnt even flinch. Then gave him the nastiest knee in the world to the body. Silva is a beast, and a 1st round KO was a easy pick.

My Grades

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 500 Points   |   Tied for 553rd

Maia vs Story
The damn bar couldn't put the fights up for a full 25 minutes so I missed the first fight, so if anyone can give me the run down for that fight just go to my profile and leave a comment breaking it down. was it impressive, was it a good fight, and is this a sign of things to come from Maia?
Maia: ?
Story: ?

Davis vs Prado
OK now they just put on this fight right before it started so close call. Phil Davis proves that he is a true all american wrestler and he showed it off. Not much from Prado that impressed me, not even that decent of striking. Davis showed that he can be divers in his submissions by going for the Anaconda so big ups for him. Striking can improve and after that he can make his way back up again. Maybe against Glover? idk that would show who is who in that fight.
Prado: C
Davis: A-

Fitch vs Silva
This fight was very technical and entertaining and I loved every minute of it, both showed divers striking and submission skills and boy everyone of those sub attempts were very very very close for each of them. Silva seemed to get tired after the first round and then it looked like auto pilot after but still hung in there. and what won Fitch the day was his aggressive takedowns and wrestling skills of just smothering him. The GnP was good and what really impressed me was the Sub attempts from Fitch. It was a well earned decision and Jon is back into my top 7 after that. and to be honest if Silva comes back from this better, I would not mind seeing a rematch.
Silva: B-
Fitch: A-

Teixeria vs Maldonado
Teixeria is the truth and I am full board on the "Band Wagon" his stand up was scary even against a former pro boxer. The takedowns worked and he worked the sub attempts a lot and still was beastly trying to get them. He got caught a few times, but he can still work on a few things. all I can say for Maldonado is he can come really close to Chris Leben for craziest Zombie Mode, and he showed heart. So Glover, I see big things heading your way.
Maldonado: C-
Teixeria: A

Nogueria vs Herman
welcome back Antonio Rodrigo Minotauro Nogueria, I have missed you. Stand Up looked very good on his part and there is a reason why he is known as the submission magician. Herman showed divers striking and that is about it. And hopefully this shows him that BJJ is no joke anymore.

Also there was no sound at the bar I was at, what did Nog say to the people of Brazil? it was fairly long. Did he retire??? I hope not, he can do so much more.

Herman: C+
Nogueria: A

Silva vs Bonnar
Anderson is the best, greatest, primo, the alpha and omega of MMA. as soon as my rankings are eligible I will put him at the top of everything. He is the greatest. I was worried for a little Bonnar showed that he can put him for the fence a little bit and tried some striking. props to Bonnar for stepping to the test, but Anderson is the truth and can beat anyone middleweight and pretty much anybody at light heavyweight.
Bonnar:C+
Anderson Silva: A+
