So if anyone watched the gleison tibau fight last night will know that he was robbed. I knew it, joe rogan knew it and his opponent Khabib Nurmagomedov knew it as well. This stuff is getting absolutely ridiculous because not only did they rob him, every one of the judges robbed him unanimously! I feel really sorry for gleison and i mean its things like this that make me believe there is a conspiracy theory that fights are rigged and the people are picked before the fights.

I scored it 29-28 for Khabib and I know @Skelliher agrees w/ me.  What are some other's thoughts?

@lilspyder you'd be surprised man, a fair amount of people thought Khabib won. He pushed the pace for the whole time in the fight.

Here's the stats brought to you by Fightmetric (lol):

Looks really close. Could've gone either way, I think the judges narrowly gave it to Khabib because he pushed the pace in the fight and Gleison was the one who was on the defensive for the whole fight.

i do agree that Tibau should have won, however I don't think the fight was "fixed" or that there is some mass conspiracy.  It is just human error. Sometimes judges suck, just like sometimes Refs suck, it happens.

I scored it 29-28 for Khfsdjgpfoasgijfon, but I do think that Tibau going backwards a lot and getting pinned against the cage hurt him, w/out a doubt. Defending 13/13 takedowns is IMPRESSIVE, though, and defending one should warrant almost as much as getting one pointwise imo.

I had Khabib, truth be told it wasn't a good fight, not much happened but Khabib did more damage, took the initiative, was more agressive, had a dominant position during a good part of the fight.. him taking a dec. sounds right to me

I think the judges saw the same thing that I was seeing. Khabib was ACTING and Tibau was merely REACTING.

You can't fight an entire fight in defensive mode and expect to get the decision.

Agreed. I had it 30-27 for Nurmagomedov and thought Rogan was on crack.

@Geez yes, and you know what else disappointed me? Philippou, I think he could've finished that fight, and I know you have to respect your opponent's power but ***uda's been ko'd before and doesn't have big ko power. Philippou won, but I wasn't impressed, I do like him though, he can go places.

I definitely think Nurmagomedov could have been more impressive, but every time Rogan commented about how he wasn't doing too much to Tibau, my brother and I were screaming at the TV, like, "*** is Tibau doing??!?!?!" He was standing in front of Nurmagomedov or walking backwards, occasionally throwing **** counters.

I can't count on 1 hand how many times Tibau went on the offensive, but still Joe continued to repeat that he had the decision in the bag. I don't know how many time I screamed for him to ****.

In Costa's defense, he did take a SAVAGE finger to the eye and a couple of hardcore nut-shots.

@Legacy yes, both were finishable fights with a guy with a better chin/power vs a guy w/ lesser, and they only got decisions, little sense of urgency

@Geez, yes, but before that he wasn't shooting like he should've
