I don't even see how you could call it illegal. He wasn't intentionally throwing at a downed opponent and it hit him while he slipped... makes me wonder if he was just throwing leg kick like he had been doing all fight. If they called it a DQ I would have been very surprised and pretty pissed... but than again, Erick Silva got the shaft....

i believe he was throwing a leg kick to finish out the combo, and his head just fell in place

@Greg I would bet. He had been throwing that combination all night. I think the slip helped him win that fight. Too bad for me, I had Matthews to win by decision... but the outcome was worth watching. Great KO.
