The FQBM will review the fight tonight, the decision might be overturned. Some people told me Walker should have won the fight and got robbed..
The fight video should be on youtube tomorrow so we'll see!

They overturned a decision on the event already. Russell Miller won by unanimous decision, but then the FQBM reviewed the fight and overtured for a split decision to Justin Fisher.

I've seen a lot of bad decisions too. I don't know how many times I've seen a guy winning all 3 rounds 10-9, yet winning a split decision.

Don't leave it in the hands of the judges!

I would be careful before saying the judges were rooting for someone.

I could be wrong but in my opinion all those judges are well intentioned, but some (not all) aren't educated enough about MMA.

Yeah, ALL the Victory MMA 6 card will be on youtube for free, probably tomorrow.

Same thing for all their upcoming events. That's some very good news, I'm looking forward to watch all those fights!

Prediction: wrong Walker   wrong Submission   wrong Round 1

Better quality will be available soon, but here's the full fight. I'm curious to see how you would score it.
Kevin Walker has red gloves and white shorts
Steve Rossignol has blue gloves and long pants

My scorecard:
R1: Walker dominated the stand-up and was going for sub most of the round. 10-9 Walker
R2: Walker dominated the stand-up and was going for sub most of the round. 10-9 Walker
R3: 10-9 Rossignol based on the fact that he was on top for the most part and landed a couple of punches
29-28 Walker

It's only 6 minutes (2-2-2), really not that long to watch. I would appreciate if you guys could take 10 minutes to watch and score the fight.

Prediction: wrong Walker   wrong Submission   wrong Round 1

Round 1: Rossignol had a sweet slam on Skywalker but Kevin had a triangle AND an armbar on him. Walker had a takedown, Rossignol had a guillotine and a reversal in the last second. Close round but I give it to Walker BARELY because of the effective striking.
Round 2: Rossignol had another takedown but Kevin had ANOTHER armbar, switched to a triangle. And it was ******* tight too. This reminds me of round 2 of the Zombie-Poirier fight. I give it to Walker because of the extremely active guard. Not dominant, but it was clearly Walker's.
Round 3: Rossignol looks gassed, Walker has his back but Rossignol sneaks out for some decent ground n' pound. Skywalker NEARLY reverses but no dice. Rossignol's just laying on top of him and Kevin tries for ANOTHER armbar but he can't get it.. Rossignol punches him a couple of times and the round's over. Give it to Rossignol, but it was a pretty bad round on both of their parts.

Final score: 29-28 for Kevin Walker. Not a robbery like a Leonard Garcia, more like an extremely close fight like Diaz/Condit. The commission had the right call but I think Walker won. Rematch should definitely happen.

I would agree with your scoring Wake. Though we all know how much judges favor top control which Rossignol had each round. Just look at the TUF Live qualifying fights, Ogle was caught in a triangle for like 4 1/2 minutes and the judges gave him the win. I could not understand that at all.

Prediction: wrong Walker   wrong Submission   wrong Round 1

R1:  Walker throwing strikes, wins an exchange and pulls guard... working for subs.. gets slammed a few times after locking up armbar after armbar that is defended... Rossignol is not doing much work from the top.. busy defending the armbar... back to their feet and walker hits a TD... back to their feet and Walker hits a trip from guillotine and transitions to mount as the bell rings.  10-9 Walker.

R2:  Trading jabs... Walker hits a front kick and they exchange.  Walker ties him up and gets tripped.  Walker reverses and briefly gets to Rossignol's back before being reversed himself.  Now Walker, from the bottom, is working subs and nearly locks up a fight ending triangle.  Rossignol doing nothing from inside Walker's guard as he defends armbars and triangles.  Walker rolls and gets back to his knees.. then his feet right as the round ends.  10-9 Walker.

R3:  Round starts as they each throw some kicks.  Walker clinches and turns to get Rossignol's back... He gets his back and drags him down, however, reversed and now holds full guard. Rossignol is landing some GNP while Walker looks to tie him up.  Rossignol now stalling somewhat and is nearly reversed.  Rossignol back in Walkers full guard not doing much at all... Walker nearly hits another armbar.  Rossignol seem to be just stalling on top, barely throwing anything.  10-9 Rossignol.

That 3rd round.. it irks me to judge it.  Rossignol gets it for being in the top position, but by no means did he control from there.  He defended multiple sub attempts, was nearly reversed and looked to be stalling on purpose to win the round in the position.  Regardless, I give the fight to Walker, and I thought clearly.

Ya if I was scoring this with the decimal system (something I've been advocating since the first time I heard of it), it'd be 29.5-28.5 for Walker.

The last round reminded me of the Jorge Lopez-Amir Sadollah fight where ya Jorge was winning but no one really wanted him to win because he wasn't fighting. So he lost.
