Fury have a good chin and use reach better then anybody I think he beat any UFC fighter in a boxing or even kickboxing match. N'gannou or Volkov vs Fury in Muai thai could be nice to watch!

When Rogan asked him "what will you do after you beat Wilder" and Fury said "probably get fat again, back on the drink!" I laughed so hard. Rogan was like "noooooo!" lmfao

He's got a weird Gyspy style. Hard to land on heavy, difficult to read, hits people from angles they don't see coming. Only thing he's missing is KO power, he's more of a volume punch finisher.

No, Gordon Ryan isn't the best grappler. Not even close. None of the Danaher Footsie Squad are elite.

Assuming he doesn't sustain a life-changing injury Tonon will be a big problem for a lot of guys in coming years. I can't really fault him for where he's at. Does have natural aptitude for striking and demonstrates some good elastic recoil which is something you can't really teach. He's not a classy striker but you wouldn't expect him to be at this stage of the game, but his fundamentals are very good, especially distance management and timing. Submission grappling record is very solid. He's only lost to utter ballers. The only thing that might detract from him is his late start in MMA but he's still got time.

Though I feel those 2 men know little to nothing about prize-fighting, I still enjoy it. This reminds me of "World War 2 from Space" where its a giant documentary that only covers the American POV in WW2.
When in reality, WW2 in Color is the best documentary because it covers the war from EVERY angle.
The first Olympic sport was Boxing. I doubt they knew that. And LONG before the Japanese were holding Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, men were punching and wrestling each other for nothing more than respect and a beer. The first ever fight on Earth was 2 males fighting over a female. That's a fact.
And there's really no need to bring in politics. Did politics have a factor in Prize-Fighting? Sure. About as much as the wind did when the US stormed the beaches of Normandy. Aka it actually didn't matter at all.
Again, this is an entertaining series but its nothing more than a diagram of everything that doesnt matter in the history of Prize-Fighting lmfao.
The guy tries to say that it wasnt til the 90's that we started asking "what style is best for fighting"....meanwhile a DECADE earlier Bruce Lee proved that styles do not fight styles. People fight people. Styles do not beat styles. People beat people. A CENTURY before Lee was around, this dude named Da Vinci exposed how the Human-Anatomy is not only a strength but a weakness. Those are things that affected Prize-Fighting. Not John McCain.

Frank Shamrock has randomly become much more active on YouTube. He just uploaded this awesome video of him and the legendary Jeff Blatnick on the mat together. I'd heard of these sessions they had back in the day. It's awesome to get to see some of it now.
