Vernon White Wiki Update Wiki

An original member of Ken Shamrock's Lions Den who fought in virtually every major mixed martial arts promotion, Vernon White is an MMA pioneer.  White began his career in Pancrase after being recruited by Ken Shamrock.  It was a trial by fire in which he won only 8 of his first 26 fights.  But, as he gained experience, White became one of the most well rounded mixed martial artists in the sport at the time and went on to have competitive matches with marquee opponents like Chuck Liddell, Kazushi Sakuraba, Jeremy Horn and many others.  Although he retired in 2010 with a losing record of 26-33-2, White fought a who's who of mixed martial arts in his long career in many major promotions including the UFC, Pride, Strikeforce, the IFL, the WFA, WEC, and Pancrase.
