Matthew DiMarcantonio was born 6 January, 1990, in Welland, Ontario, Canada. He attended Notre Dame College, a catholic secondary school in his hometown. He trains at Muay Thai Niagara, as well as instructing MMA, BJJ, and Muay Thai classes. DiMarcantonio has been a practitioner of BJJ for 17 years.  He currently has a Black Belt in BJJ and specializes in no-gi Jiu-Jitsu.

DiMarcantonio currently has a professional record of 6-5 and went 8-1 as a amateur.
