Kim Couture Wiki
Kim Couture had no background in fighting prior to meeting her eventual husband, Randy Couture, whom she was married to for a number of years. Couture took an interest in competing in women’s MMA after Gina “Conviction” Carano, MMA’s most famous female fighter, began training at her gym in Las Vegas, Nevada. Couture made her professional debut in 2008, losing a Unanimous Decision to Kim Rose which was notable for the broken jaw Couture gamely fought through in excruciating pain for almost the entire fight. In her next bout, Couture notched her first victory with a first-round TKO over Lina Kvokov. She has since alternated wins and losses in her search for a major women’s MMA title.
