Jake Rosholt Wiki
Back when he competed for Oklahoma State University, freestyle wrestling powerhouse Jake Rosholt won the 184-pound NCAA Division I wrestling title in 2003, and the 197-pound title in 2005 and 2006. He is a four-time All-American and a 2004 Big 12 Conference Champion.
By training with the famed Xtreme Couture gym prior to his MMA debut in 2007, Rosholt has increasingly augmented his powerful wrestling base with capable striking and Jiu-Jitsu. After compiling a 5-0 record from 2007-2008 competing for smaller leagues, Rosholt got his shot in the UFC, where he was defeated in his 2009 debut. He won his sophomore effort by submitting Chris Leben with an Arm Triangle Choke at UFC 102. After a loss to Kendall Grove in 2009, Rosholt was cut from the promotion, but hopes to work his way back up the ladder to earn another shot in the UFC in the near future.
